    I've learned that throwing bread slices in a blender makes a way better coating. Never going with boxed bread crumbs ever again.

      Do u toast the bread?

    • @geo.j27
      @geo.j27 5 месяцев назад +14

      You know that’s because your bread is more hydrated so it packs together better and cooks slower. In japanese places, they wet their Panko to hydrate it and allow for longer fry times and lower heat which results in that packed and perfectly all around golden crust while being cooked through

    • @Rosiee.00
      @Rosiee.00 3 месяца назад +2

      Bread crumbs ≠ panko
      Panko goes through a different process than bread crumbs, so the result of using bread crumbs here instead of using panko will not be the same.

    • @Honeneko.
      @Honeneko. 3 месяца назад

      @@Rosiee.00 It looks like to me that he used the box stuff, which isn't that much different. Just bigger crumbs.

      @@Honeneko.
      I find it if i use breadcrumbs the texture is a schnitzel for me than a tonkatsu. Don't get me wrong making your own breadcrumbs at home is waaay better and tastier than the boxed one for sure, but there is a reason why some recipe calls for Panko and not breadcrumbs is, just the process how it was made and for the texture. Like if i make fried crispy shrimp, the difference is a lot between the breadcrumbs you make at home/get from store vs. Panko(japanese style bread flakes )
      In the end we all want that heavenly crisp goodness, we can both agree on that!

      @@shmwmlam3953 Did not know that so pretty cool... but I think he meant it was good since many foreigners can't palette the several spices in Indian food so I guess this is the next best alternative with apple's and so on. There's also pork which I mean is mostly eaten in villages of few regions (mainly south to my knowledge) and its also easier to make since there are curry powders with everything in it.

    I have never seen this recipe, I can say I was shocked. First the meat is browned (I recommend chicken breast) when browned a little add an onion, a carrot and a potato, stir a little and the band add about 700ml of water, leave for 15 minutes and after add the curry paste (you can order it online) when you add it mix 5 minutes in the canteen and add 50 ml of milk to make it creamier. That's how I do it and I assure you it's super good.
