Great Video. We are invited next year to Scotland, what is the best time of rutting season?
Aim for week 42 or 43…
@@JacobKamman thank you so much, it will be the Island of Mull, a paradise of nature i heard!
awesome....nice edit - beautiful country
you probably dont care but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all the latest movies on Instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my gf these days :)
@William Anakin definitely, I have been using instaflixxer for years myself :D
Scotland is beautiful indeed , great scenery , lovely old estate building , great camera work ! Hope you got to do a bit of fly fishing Jacob !? Dont recognise the rifle & scope , not your usual set up !?
A gun provided by the guide/estate perhaps? Just an impression looking at the kit (y)
It was the stalkers old gun..;)
what's the name of guide/company???
fantastic photo
you passed on the big boy???
@thefilth thefury Thanks for the comment...not...Looked like a clean shot and plenty of backstop to me. I have hunted all over and you have to realize once the bullet goes through an animal it has little energy left over to go far...but nice try. Full bore :)
the top one was good...
Looks like a Holland & Holland wood stalk in a 30-06
Ruger M-77
10% of the video is a intro !
These animals are wonderful, a pity our species is not. I would like this practice to be prohibited until people are aware of the value of life.
Ludmila Pacheco Bezerra dear ludmila... thank you for your comment... it’s a matter of conservation through hunting! Without a management plan, These deer Will not do Well. Also it’s about putting a value on the stags so the land owners have a reason to manage the thousands of red deer... if there’s no value, they’ll simply be culled and remplacer by sheep! “If it pays, it stays!”
@@JacobKamman Thank you for explaining your point of view. I'm traveling the highlands of scotland right now. I crossed several deer on the road. They are wild creatures who own those lands as well. Thank you for keeping the response at a respectable level.
Ludmila Pacheco Bezerra enjoy the highlands, its beautiful this time of year! Of course the deer also live here and if you ask any hunter, they Will roan here forever! BUT, they do need to be managed and if they dont generate an income, the farmers Will get rid of Them! The hunters are the deers biggest supporters and we’re the only one paying for Them to stay here!
@@JacobKamman Thank you for explaining the situation. Anyway, I still believe there are other forms of preservation and balance than hunting. Thanks
Ludmila Pacheco Bezerra really? I would love to hear Them?
