Everyone mentioned how the A option (hardware) has better bottom end, and I agree. However I also wanted to add that the stereo image of the hi-hats is aloooooottttt more focused on the hardware version than the plugin one. I have the Heritage Audio HA-609A and it is the same kind of results/comparisons to the plugins as well that I find. Also, thank you for your super clear and concise comparison videos!

Good morning. Thank you for these very appreciable tests. I assure you that you have your place on RUclips and that your voice is far from being an ambient noise. I have seen many tests of all kinds on different machines or others. Your approach is honest, simple and direct and it can only bring good things for those who will follow you faithfully now.

I add that I guessed very quickly (a little by betting) but the differences are noticeable, especially on the bass tails, less long on the plugin. It could have been the opposite of course, and it can depend on many parameters, but the test is still very convincing.
This machine may be of interest, even if I already have many things available.
a test on voices ?... And why not on classical orchestral music... (I know it's a little specific, but as it's my field, I try the request...)
I'll buy one to use with my tascam 16 track analog reel. If it's decent, tape will make it sound like a million bucks. Harsh cold protools won't..
sample A sounded much better than B... that's why I thought "A" was a Plugin... as I said, as soon as it becomes available, I'll buy it
