Super ride Bryan, thanks again for sharing. Yep, isn’t it great not to have Retirement jealousy any longer. I retired Independence weekend ‘21 and so happy with that decision, definitely not bored and smiling as I ride. Enjoy your rides!🚴🏻
Just fabulous Bryan. This ride was even more interesting than the last one you did with your new camera rig. I loved the last one but this tops that. This video really shows the exposure capability of the Hero 11 Black. Everything is so clean and clear and easy to see... it's like being there. What a huge difference from your Hero 7 Black. The way it handles the shadows and backlighting is incredible. So engaging to watch. Gord
Hey, thanks, Gord! Yeah, I feel pretty fortunate to have this so close. I’ve got a video almost done that includes more of the peninsula. It was a great ride. Stay tuned.
Delaware is a "secret" and one I wish would remain a secret. Since Covid I see so many more license plates from New York and New Jersey, especially around the beach areas. This equates to more people and more traffic. When I was younger I used to take offense to out of state people bashing Delaware. Now I am like, "Yep, Delaware is horrible. Please don't come."
Hey there Bryan , haven't posted in awhile, trying to catch up on a bunch of your videos ! What do you do in the winter time? Ever do some winter rides? not necessarily in the snow. lol😀
Thanks, dude. Mostly, I watch cycling videos on my trainer! 😉 I did two rides last winter on my fat bike in the snow. It was a blast. I’m thinking of trying an overnight camp trip this year. How about you? What do you do in winter?
Glad to hear it isn’t just me. Seems very congested out there right now. I had heard it will be a particularly bad year for allergies as well. It didn’t get cold enough during the winter months…??? I don’t know. I’ve been wearing a face covering from my vast Covid collection.
Bryan, you changed your settings. Trees and poles are starting to bend at the edges of the picture frame. That's my only sigh. I don't think you realized this as you don't like that effect either. Gord
@@RideAlongAdventures Actually, I never felt that the Linear setting was too narrow. If you think about it, although our peripheral vision sees a wider angle in real life. We are only able to focus on what's in front of us. Same with the video frame. You can try and grab a wider viewing angle, but when you fucus at that wider angle you will get the distortion. You're really not buying anything in terms of a better view since we can only focus on what's in front, anyways. The bending of trees and poles at the sides isn't too bad. It was when you were showing those beautiful beach houses that they appeared to be kicked back a bit and sightly elongated. That's when I really noticed it. That's when I looked at the sides and could see there was a bit of bending going on. I agree that there should be a setting that gives a slightly wider angle without perceptible distortion. But apparently that's not available yet. Alternately, such a setting night not be that different from Linear that they even bothered with it. Gord

Well said! Thanks for watching.

Thanks! Such a photogenic area. Honestly, I don’t know why DE beaches aren’t on the top of more lists. Gorgeous area.
I watched this a second time and really enjoyed the scenery. This is a great ride for sure. You live in a great area for biking.

@@RideAlongAdventures Thanks Bryan... will do. You do your research and find great dedicated biking trails.

lol. That’s hilarious. I’ve lived in DE for 20 years now. I think it’s a great place. Maybe I should start a video like that. 😂
I literally just have missed you. Gotta house right down the street from Brandon Falls.
Lol. You are incredibly fortunately-this is such a beautiful area.

The bugs on my local rtt are intense this spring. Managed to get one in the eye and inhaled another moments later.

Yeah, was experimenting. “Wide” is just too wide. “Linear” feels too narrow. Seems like a big jump between the two.
