I like to think this cartoon was the spiritual prequel to Teen Titans
I also see it as a prequel to justice league action because......well.... The batmen are so similar
The two show runs in parallel. After Teen Titans ended Robin joined The Batman in season 3
I think he left Batman Then, formed the Teen Titans

I loved the Joker's EVERYTHING in this.
This theme expressed the ongoing struggle of batman's exploits while the second one expresses more hope and joy because of the introduction of batgirl and robin
The second one was just more traditional superhero theme. Which kinda sums up the last 3 seasons of the show. I loved it when it was just season 1 and 2, yes the last 3 are still good but the first 2 felt way better

This theme is one of my favorite Batman themes. It really captures what Batman really is. A dark, serious dectetive, who will try his best to stop any crime coming his way. Sucks that they changed the theme after the 1st Season. :/

What I like about this incarnation of batman was the fact that it dared to be different. Bruce's personality is different, the Joker is a bit different, it was nice. I mean sure, for me it took a bit of getting used to (at first I found it pretty weird that Bruce was so much more cheerful and lighthearted) but I think it paid off. I mean sure, it definitely isn't the best incarnation of batman but it has done pretty darn well. A really enjoyable series.
+Ace of Blades I like a happier Batman. It's more...realistic? To me, anyways. Nothing worse than a angsty Batman.
+Ace of Blades yeah up until the end he becomes a more brooding and serious Bruce/Batman, thats what I liked about the series, a transformation from beginning to end.
My favorite characterization for Batman is when he's generally very serious/stoic, but still has a slight sense of humor that he occasionally lets out.
Lizzie Stewart I wouldn’t say Bruce is different. In fact it’s closer to classic Bruce before the 80s and 90s decided he should be a paranoid, rage driven, vengeance thirsting, violent, gritty vigilante. This Bruce had a good balance between that and classic Bruce. Kind of like Grant Morrison’s and Scott Snyder’s way of writing him.
SolarDragon007 really that’s the best way to write him. Even the DCAU portrayed him this way most of the time. It was only TNBA and Batman Beyond that favoured angsty Bruce. Otherwise in JL and JLU he had friends and sometimes made sarcastic jokes and smiled at times. In comics, this is how Dennis O’Neil, Ed Brubaker, Grant Morrison and Scott Snyder writes him.
That Batman was so bad ass.

I love this theme especially the very last part when. The drums and instruments go out for a sec "The Batman“ that ending phrase sets it off.
This is my favorite Batman series, I know most people love The Batman: The animated series but this one just I personally think blows it out of the water~

I remember this Batman was around 26 and he smiled more than any other version of Batman
I loved the style; atmosphere; characters; concepts; damn near everything about this series up until the introduction of sidekicks; the shift in tone, and Batman as less of an urban legend, and more as just another vigilante.
I think Season five is when I lost interest, because it wasn't a Batman show, it practically became Batman cleaning up after the other heroes villains.

I very strongly believe that this was the greatest incarnation of batman period and is an equal to batman the animated series in every way, shape and form, others Will disagree or agree on this, but I stick by my thoughts on this.
This truly is the 2nd best incarnation of a Batman cartoon. Batman TAS is 1st,but that's a given. Did you know they were going to adapt the killing joke for this series?

You're right in every sense of the word. This is one of my absolute favourite series, and the take on Batman is brilliant.
I used to see commercials for this show, the music always stood out.
I dig the driving sound of the music ….much U2 inspired mesmerizing melodic sound of the song.
The Edge did a great arrangement….. I like the sound of batarangs and cape
Being a fan of the darker side of Batman lore and an artist, I really liked the structure of the series. I will record this and play it every time I start my
1964 Dodge 440 ( my personal batmobile) The thrill I get when I fire it up is the same thrill I got as a child when the batmobile fired up on the TV series.

spot on! also, throughout the episodes, whenever Batman came to a realization of something, they struck a very James Bond-esque chord, Batman is a detective in essence and The Edge understood the assignment better than a lot of Batman composers!!!

U2's The Edge did a great job with this theme. I wish he'd write darker material like this for the band itself.

This was SUCH a great series. My brother and I used to get up every Saturday to watch this. I had to look it up for nostalgia's sake. I will never forget this theme song. So, so good.

What I lived about this series was its continuity. You genuinely saw progression and change as the show went on, he became more serious and stoic as the show went on and gained more sidekicks like his actual career in the comics. Also seeing the formation of the justice league and shit was really cool
Also I loved how his cape went around his body and the way he fought, so cool
this was the batman i grew up with, so this might be my fav batman theme
This is the Batman that got me into the whole franchise and made me into a Batman fan. I still have memories watching this series and loving every moment of it. It’s a good show.
Same here i grew up watching this on kids wb. Childhood and fav Batman for me. Recently rewatched on netflix i still adore it. I also just watched BTAS/NBA and they’re my second fav.
I love the animated series of the 90’s and this great 2004 entry equally. I feel the darker one would be the 90’s filled with so much classic Batman greatness. But this 2004 is action packed, super cool, and a fantastic adaptation. If only some 30/40 year old men would get this head out of their ass and give this show credit. Can’t reach an old dog new tricks.

I liked how this opening introduced 4 of the main villains he has to deal with for the first 2 seasons. different takes on them it was kind of refreshing to see how joker didn't have to be the focus of batman's attention while still keeping joker obsessed with batman. still this was an actual good Batman show since there hasn't been good one after batman TAS.

I love this theme way more from the one that showed up in later seasons(that one was so weak). BTAS will always be the best of the animated series, but this comes at a close second. It was new, fun and way better than "Brave and the Bold".

The first one is more dark, I liked that one better at first, but then of you listen closely on the 3rd season theme, you can hear the "nananananananana" and proves it's part of it in the credits. (You can hear it more then, than in the beginning)

As a kid this Would have to be the only Batman cartoon that could scare the living fuck out of me because of how the joker looked in that series, especially when I saw the cartoon movie Batman vs. Dracula
The Batman was one of my favorite shows growing up
I remember this series, One of my mom’s friends gave me a tablet and i used to watch the hell out of this show on Hulu or Netflix, either one of the two. I would try and pull all nighters, or wake up in the morning and watch this. I think this was back in like 2016.
This has to be one of the best Batman themes, and one of the best Batman animated series ever made. I remember I was also kind of scared from the theme, sound effects and that Zombie episode.
Brings back so many good memories, miss those times.

It is interesting that the Edge of U2 arranged this. He has never been one of my favorite guitarists, but he brings something really cool and eerie to this theme.
É sem dúvidas uma das melhores aberturas de desenho que eu já vi, a música e como ela evolui ao decorrer junto com as cenas dá uma sensação muito de um Batman sério e ao mesmo tempo humano.
Infelizmente as outras temporadas não tem esse tema tão bom, gosto muito dessa abertura, obrigado por postar.
