@@titan8995 so here's the thing. for whatever reason, these comic book companies (or the parent companies who own them) have long since disliked having multiple versions of characters on screen, tv or film, at the same time. no idea why. it's like they thought viewers couldn't handle different versions of a character sometimse shows would lose access to who sets of characters In Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, they lost access to basically all Batman characters other than Batman after the first few seasons. Joker is in some story arcs but he never shows up again (they had already made a concious choice to avoide Batman villains cause they wanted to branch out, but the decision to cut them off meant they couldn't even touch the characters) I think the same thing happened with Aquaman. At the time CW was thinking of making a Smallville spinoff about Aquaman. They made a pilot episode. It never got picked up. But it resulted in Aquaman disappearing from the show.
It's sad to see something so badass so underrated. They planned on turning this show into a Justice League series, but it lost budget and views. It's one of those classic Cartoon Network shows thatll live on only in spirit.

This might just be the nostalgia talking, but I always felt like this theme captured the dark, mysterious side of Batman quite well. The show had just the right amount of edge and seriousness to expand the mythos and the character further, while still keeping the core essence of Batman intact. Man, I miss this series.
The part at 2:44 goes SO HARD. i love how it steps away from the dark mysterious aspect for a moment and just brings the viewer into the more intense life of Batman, showing us how much he needs to protect Gotham and Ugh this SHOW SLAPS

Still dark in some of the latter seasons. Maxie Zeus, Mirror Master, what Black Mask does to his henchmen, not to mention that whole gas Gotham arc with the guy who can travel through time.
This theme is what made it feel like a true Batman show. He’s the worlds greatest detective, but still dark and brooding. The theme perfectly captures that, it’s mysterious and edgy but still electrifying.
This was The Batman for me, what introduced me to the mythology, the characters and the story, all done in a serious style and fantastic unique way, I loved this series!, not to say BTAS is inferior, but this was the Batman I grew up with, also because of how perfectly this theme song is! But I can't help but feeling that this show got underrated, I don't know why not so many people mentioned it as how they mentioned TBAS and Batman Beyond, because I think its a Batman series that's worth the mention because of their dark and serious storylines and fantastic depictions of the Batman characters and villains
It's because the 1st and 2nd season was more a dark tale and soon became more light hearted in the following seasons. Comparing the intros make this even more true.

I remember this series, One of my mom’s friends gave me a tablet and i used to watch the hell out of this show on Hulu or Netflix, either one of the two. I would try and pull all nighters, or wake up in the morning and watch this. I think this was back in like 2016. This has to be one of the best Batman themes, and one of the best Batman animated series ever made. I remember I was also kind of scared from the theme, sound effects and that Zombie episode. Brings back so many good memories, miss those times.

Overall this song is a good summary of The Batman's quiet but intense lifelong war he's sworn against crime.
Ending it with "THE BATMAN!" is so cool
God this series is underrated. It had style, music, great characters, and even after the addition of Batgirl onward, had some amazing moments

This show was incredible in the first two seasons, when more and more characters got added it became more family friendly and less dark.
A real shame too. The other seasons had some good moments, but it also lost its edge.
That's always the case when they add the justice league or supes 8n the old one. However Justice league itself corrected that and was entirely awesome
