How is the projection and longevity compared to CDNI - as an EDP I would expect better performance as well. Like the sound of the Trussardi too.

Cdnim parfum, just bought it today, it's phenomenal beast!!!
They fixed it! The Limited Edition CDNIM now says Parfum on the bottle, not just the box. 😀. I got mine today.

if you prefer the very smokey batches and don't care about the screeching synthetic stuff in the EDT, then it's not worth to go for the Limited Edition, like I said it's definetly less smokey and less dark. I somehow get more Leather and almost no smoke in the Parfum.
@@Megerslime no idea about the EDP but heard it's fruitier, less smokey too
The one that just says “parfum” on the bottle is a bit of a different formulation as compared to the “eau de parfum”. The edp one has a much much better opening and lasts all day out of the box. The parfum has the harshness of the edt and doesn’t last near as long unless you stash the bottle away, basically giving it time to cure and macerate.

Its not that exciting you need 15 sprays and it will last 3 hours.

So no one is going to mention that the box says “Parfum” and the bottle says “Eau de Parfum”? Am I missing why the bottle doesn’t also say “Parfum”?
What I think is happening is that CDNIM does not have batch inconsistency but in fact bottle inconsistency. I am saying this because I have two bottles from the same batch 2020 and I got them from the same store even. One of them gives me max 1 hour projection and lingers on the skin for 2 more hours but the other one gives me a solid projection for 2-3 hours and I catch whiffs of it even after 12 hours, no joke. And I assure you it's not just me, I kept asking my girlfriend when testing these and she says the same. I think lot of bottles from the same batch underperform and others perform well. This could be a storage problem where it is possible for some bottles to go bad because of unfavourable temperature as the fragrances move from production, get exported and then arrive in stores but I'm not sure.
This is why I suspect a lot of people online are divided on this. Also I don't believe that there has been any reformulation whatsoever as the smell is exactly the same as the CDNIM 2015 batch I used (silver sprayer).
The Trussardi is looking delish. Have never given this brand the time of day but it seems like I will need to starting now..

CREED Aventus is both young and gentlemanly. I'm 14 and all the girls in high school love this as do older women too. We own creed Aventus as well as armaf CDNIM and another one. On my RUclips channel you can see I did a 2 day comparison of creed Aventus and the others. The girls love this scent because its fire, also why it cost so much...

Okay, so I got this Parfum, and I have to say that the opening is FAR more lemony than the toilette, and it stays lemony for a few hours. I don't really like that aspect much. Sure, it's not as synthetic, but the "lemon cleaner" vibe still persists here ... and for even longer. Frankly, I am surprised that Ash liked it at all.
How is the performance vs edt?
I added a lil bit of Demeter pineapple to lower down the lemon in the edp version as well. I don’t understand why they keep adding lemon to it 🤷🏻♂️
After wearing this for a day I get 4-6hrs longevity. A strong smell of flintstones vitamins. It bothers me. Great bottle but it’s not second bottle worthy, or any bottle worthy.
Ha. Almost didn't watch from the first 4 words, then saw, "Wood and Wood". I have a decant of this and really like it. Not mind blowing, but solid. And, its cut short. AHH. I didn't remember the notes and when you said "Apricot" I found that interesting. It will change in less than 30 minutes. Very curious to see a future review of this one, (IM Wood & Wood). I am probably buying regardless but love to hear your reviews. Thanks for what you do. I could be fine with never seeing Aventus or any of its clones, ever, again. Too many other great, more unique (Every friggin person has this), frags that will get all my love. Will re-visit Aventus when, (if), I turn 80.
I want to try the limited edition parfum so bad, but it's going for $150 online and at the very least $60 on eBay, which is highway robbery. Like, I might as well just buy aventus at those prices.

mont blanc explorer is more of inspired by aventus with similar smell yet different. club de nuit is direct clone.
Mont blanc is the best clone actually better than Creed last longer for 1/5th of the price. Anyone that pays $500 AUD for a bottle of fragrance that is not a CEO is just a twit wasting their money, so many great designers out there, i coukd but niche and think the more you spend the better you are, when in fact people are laughing at you when u walk past smelling like you had a bath in it. The person laughing more is the sales assistant that conned you into buying it
*That cap floating around the box is sometimes an indicator that the box was repacked. At **9:23**, you had a perfect spray the first time AND THAT ALWAYS MEANS THE BOTTLE WAS USED BEFORE.* 2 years ago, I was sent a bottle of CDNI Men edt from a discounter that you've mentioned (not the biggest ones) and the cap was also floating around the box (which looked worn). Though, the box was wrapped in cellophane, the bottle was obviously used and repacked and the scent was weaker than normal, indicating it was probably partially refilled with water. I sent it back for a refund (actually I sent two back because they sent me two used bottles. Both had great sprays with the first pump).
I'm beginning to think that a lot of the bottles come that way. I bought three different bottles from three different sources, including Amazon, but they all sprayed on the very first pump. The third bottle was the Limited Edition EDP too and it was only a month old according to the manufacture date on the bottle. I certainly wasn't pleased and got a $25 gift card from FragranceBuy.ca in return
@@Khans0120 A few years ago, Amazon was sending out used bottles. Whether they were direct from Amazon or from one of their 3rd party resellers is unsure. Any bottle that gets a perfect spray the first time has been used and repacked. Check these bottles that Amazon was sending out a few years ago. @@shave-a-thon3415 I just spoke with an Amazon representative on the phone today having to do with the fragrance and ended up getting a full refund for the second time, even though they offered a replacement which I then declined because of it being like playing the lottery
I think any Aventus clone down in these lower price ranges should be compared directly against AL Haramain's L'aventure 🍍
The old light setting was unbelievably amazing that your collection was shinning and your bottle presentations were crystal clear .. Now everything is muffled and blurry !

I'm actually ok with baccarat rouge 540 being cloned now , I'm just sick of aventus clones! Atleast the novelty of a 540 clone isn't as beat into the dirt as aventus is 😱

I'm just so happy we got so many affordable choices when it comes to Aventus. The market honestly did us all a favor. And it's _still_ an obscure fragrance DNA to most of the public world who doesn't know about Aventus or its clones.
I'm not annoyed one bit by the clones. It's just the market trying to you and me!
@@benediktpohl1308 there's been several that have been compared but I don't think they are direct clones but interpretations of that dna with their own twists.
Tiziana terenzi spirito fiorentino, Montale sensual instinct, mancera instant crush, mizensir for your love are some that get compared to it that are recent releases.

I purchased CDNIM EDP and I don't regret it it's much smoother and all around more balanced and I won't be going back to the original.

@@andrew7650 they are very similar as far as projection goes but much cleaner and not so in your face . As far as longevity goes it lasts on me all day, I'd say a solid 8/9 hours. They definitely fixed all the flaws and got it right with this one

@@deemaxful it was $70 Canadian. I know people say it's too much and to wait till it gets cheaper but tbh it's an amazing fragrance so for me it was worth pulling the trigger on it

I'm glad that boss the scent parfume have never been referred as an Aventus clone, I wonder if it is similar to another Fragrance, a review would help. Also a hugo boss wife rating would be nice if possible.

Trussardi blue vibe is quite a solid perfume to have. There are some Versace ones which are twice as expensive which are quite similar but you are paying for the label.
Wood & wood review ...just save up and buy Aventus!, but it is fun looking in to all those hard attempts to clone Aventus

Ash, the thing I respect most about your channel is your fidelity to neutrality. Your reviews always come off as authentic, probably because it appears that you purchase your own products instead of taking money and free products to promote them. This is the best frag review channel on RUclips by a margin. I can’t stand JeremyFragrance at all. The dude is actively performing a money grab while putting on a facade that he represents quality and it bothers me to my core.

What about Armaf Venetian (green bottle) and Armaf Venetian Amber (yellow/gold juice) ????? I see them on a canadian website....No reviews or info on these 2.
I just received my bottle of CDNIM LE. In my humble opinion, it honestly smells more like Spicebomb Extreme. And it smells nearly identical to Abercrombie and Fitch First Instinct Extreme.
I’ve never smelled the EDT or EDP and I’d hope one of those smells more like Aventus because off first impression I don’t think CDNIM LE smells like Aventus.
I honestly think MontBlanc Explorer smells far closer to Aventus
cap not on the bottle and a perfect spray in the first go...all points to a repack.

If you consider price prolly this. I have like 750 ml of parfums vintage aventus variants. They’re great, but more expensive.

How big an operation is Sterling Parfums and how many employees do they have? It's takes their customer service a week to respond to inquiries.
