I am glad that there are people that do what these guys do. I wish that people would quit buying pets, the majority of them end up in animal rescues. The rescues all around the country are "FULL" with unwanted & abandoned pets. Dogs, cats, horses, fish, reptiles, birds, etc. Our country should make it illegal to continue breeding animals for pets. Make it illegal to sell puppies, cats, & all types of exotic animals. If you want a pet, then go adopt one from the shelters & rescues. "Ohio Fish Rescue" is huge, and very expensive operation, I don't understand how they can fund all of that from just donations ? I know that those large acrylic tanks cost thousands & thousands of dollars, not to mention the cost of all the air pumps & filtration systems. And I am very familiar with fish aquariums, they are very difficult to keep clean, and even more difficult to keep all of the water PH Levels correct. There is no way that just those 2 guys can maintain all of that on their, they have to have several employees to help them - so where does all of the money come from ? And why don't they just release a lot of those fish back out into the wild ? We have plenty of oceans, lakes, & rivers that the majority of those fish could survive in. Those guys have made quite a business out of rescueing fish, they sell tons of fish related items online, items that include clothing apparel. It says that this is a "not for profit" corporation, but after checking out their website, I highly doubt that they are non-profitable ? 🤔

Every time they go up to a tank with a camera and the fish look out from the tank reminds me of the restaurant scene in Monty Python's Meaning of Life, where the the fish with human head swim up and greet each with " Morning ", especially the Pacus SFMF!

Try goliaths on large floating hikari carnstick pellets , get wave makers to create a swirling kind of whirlpool direction on surface to the pellets sticks swirl slowly around surface looking like live fish on surface , also I dipped pellets in garlic guards
But they take couple days and they’ll

I had an opportunity years ago to work at a fly fishing lodge in Alaska and was amazed by the bounty of different fish! I was wondering if you guys have ever rescued a greyling or a shefish? The shefish was amazing and nicknamed "the tarpon of the north"

4:50 I read that the Australian Lungfish (the Barramunda) feeds on frogs, worms and that kind of stuff that’s found around the water’s edge, vegetables also. Maybe you can try that

Im not an expert, but im not sure if conditioning alligator gar in a pool where people might swim to associate a pointy white thing attached to a human with food is necessaryly the best idea
Might be better to do this with a distinct geometric shape unlikely to resemble anything potentially attached to a human
Ive seen this being done for some marine aquarium where the sharks and stingrays were trained to follow different colourful shapes at the end of a stick to be target fed
I think they no what there doing they’ve been doing this a long time
Also, remember all these fish were people's pet's/family. They were all raised with people.
