Nice job. As someone said either blister the onions like you did or sweat them low and slow. take the onions off the heat then up the heat to medium-high and cook the chop. I pull at 140 degrees and most chicago stands use a slightly thinner chop which is easier to eat in a bun.
Was watching Chicago PD and one of the characters was talking about pork chop sandwiches and it made me want to try one. Your recipe looks really easy to follow, thank you.
I went to college in Chicago and those pork sammies are the best! Gonna give that a try this week. TY for the great videos and Chicago love. It’s a great city.
Extra onions, extra mustard, and an RC! All must haves

Yum, you can take the girl out of Chicago but my heart is there with you!
Looks so yummy. Uncle Rey loves those Pork Chop sandwiches. Enjoy! That’s another great job!
Nice chef. I will be trying this recipe

Very nice 💪
cook onions on low heat so they sweat, move onions before cooking pork chop for better browning
Now that's a poke chop sammich!!!
I'd cut the meat off the bone in case I crack a tooth on that bone. And add a little cherry jalapeno BBQ sauce to that chop as well.
How long on each side for the chop; how do you know when it's done?
🤪❤👌
Maybe remove the bone after cooking unless people in Chicago have bwtter dental programs than the rest of us 😂
Has anyone cracked a tooth on the bone?😇
What no MAYO ❓
What kind of bun?
looks like brioche bun
