Keep in mind that chain drifts are a lot easier when you are turning the tightest possible in a certain direct comparative to drifting lesser. Also if you combine soft drifting into the equation it has the same effect. Also you don't need a miniturbo for a chain drift. (it looks really cool without a miniturbo lol)
Ok, coming back to this video for a sec to tell you all that the tas turbo was done by a human! It requires you to claw grip, I'll explain what that is in a later video :)
If you play with a GCN controller and utilize B-drifting, you're actually not limited to just one finger doing all the work and re-pressing drift is as fast as you possibly can. Since you have two drift buttons, you can simply turn the high demand for raw speed into a matter of timing by pressing one drift button the instant you release the other one. Granted... in my years of playing, I'm literally the only person I've ever heard of doing this. I'm hard pressed to find players that even use B-drifting at all, and if they do, they seem to use it almost exclusively, not in tandem with R-drifting-though I'm sure there's probably some out there. But anyway, it's a viable option that I've used for years and is worth mentioning here. It can be a awkward for some I suppose since your thumb has to also keep holding A.
I must point out that releasing and then repressing a button in 4 frames is an order of magnitude easier than clicking a button twice in that same time period. Nice video though
this is one of the techniques im actually really consistent in (meaning chain drifting), which is funny cause my overall driving in general still sucks
chain drifting would probably be much easier with a classic controller or nunchuk than with a GCN because the triggers are much less chunky, allowing for more precise inputs.
Probably due to a 30 fps timer, if you want to get lower than 0.07 (really 0.06666...) on a timer that runs at 30 fps youll need to get 0.03 (really 0.03333...)
fellas 00:01 with one finger. beat that nerds
Well, ive gotton 0.02 so... beat by 98 hundredths
00:00 don't even know how but it possible😂
For some reason, I can easily get a 00:00 on my stopwatch lol
You won’t believe me but I got 00:00
Well I got 10:00 and now I feel inferior but I did it on my tablet so
I'm drifti- I slip drifted using a banana. BA NA NA
Ay, we take those
You should’ve mentioned how chain slipdrifts are a lot easier to get when going up a slope or on sticky road.
This guy is super underrated. I showed him to my brother because he wants to get better at the game and this really helped him. Thank you.

Thanks for giving me a friend. I needed some xD

Man, all your videos are so clean!
the way you describe and explain confusing mkw terminology people use is perfect.

What is b drifting?
@@dianauwu1312 Drifting with the B button instead of the R button.

0.05 one finger.
I hate skip drifts when they happen on accident. They always kill me on the little zig zag thing before the cannon on rainbow road.
I guess the reason it's called a slip drift is because it's almost as if you slipped on something when you accidentally do it.
i cannot tell you how many times fucking slipdrifts have ruined a time trial

0.11 was the best I could get.
tas turbos look cool, I only did it a couple times
the lowest i got was 7 kept getting 8 and was stuck on 10 ms for a while

my mouse can go really well on the stopwatch thing coz it can double click if done correctly lol
Is it sad that I'm able to consistently get 00:00.07, but no lower then that
.07 is actually pretty good, I remember as a kid I was lucky to sub .1

How can I do the wheelie method (chain drift) on a kart? Does this work at all on karts?
No.
I can A tech in double dash but still have trouble with some of these techs
Arclntel do you use tas
I got 0.06 once,
But more often did I get over 0.1
I got 0.6 at my lowest.

that's odd.
I got 0.02 once

i find chain drifting with a wheelie WAY easier than without. like im almost 100% consistent. i also claw with classic controller so kinda cheating
it buffers the input so the mash timing is a little bigger, some people do it like that too
It's easier like that for me too
00.14
respectable
I got 1.05 seconds with one finger
Bro I legit got 00:00 on my Galaxy s8
Edit: Sorry I'm an idiot I did that with 2 fingers
Edit 2: 00:07 with one
I got 0.02 once
0.05 seconds

Classic controller Pro or CC Classic controller. It's the one that looks like a PlayStation controller with two thumbsticks at the bottom.
