Great reaction! You must react to Whitney singing The Greatest Love of All Live at Aristas 15th anniversary special. Since you enjoyed the other rendition, I'd like to hear your thoughts regarding this one in 1989. Thanks for sharing!
You have done yourself a dis-service reacting to this video, as its actually a performance not held in the highest regard by Whitney fans in general, Whitney had just finished a gruelling tour and was suffering from a cold during this - Please react instead to her Welcome Home Hero's performance of either All the Man that I Need or A Song for You. The ultimate reaction for first time listeners to really appreciate Whitney at her full and incredible talent is the infamous AMA Medley - Porgy, And I'm Telling You and I Have Nothing. Whitney will blow your mind with this, you haven't seen nothing yet!
This performance is actually one of the greatest version of her singing All The Man I Need, what are you talking about?? It’s easily top 3. The Welcome Home Heroes is one of my least favorite performances of this song. I actually prefer this performance…but the top 2 performances of this song is from her concert in Japan where she’s in a red dress (not The Welcome Home Heroes) and then there’s the version on Arsenio Hall then there’s the version on Saturday Night Live. Whitney had the ability to never sing a song the same way twice. To say it’s a disservice is disrespectful to the person who uploaded this on his channel.
@@jobuck879 we have to agree to disagree. I much prefer the Welcome Home Hero version of All the Man that I need. I personally think she was a lot more controlled and playful in comparison to this performance. Whitney was incredible across the board but as I say I do prefer Welcome Home Heros.
Ew omg that performance is so basicc….this is definitely better and alot of the older fans tend to prefer the same performances when she has way better
@@jobuck879 This is also my favourite along with March 14 date 9 no video) 1991 version Japan. Her voice was in crazy shape just before she got the tone vocal cords. Check that version and the full concert for that date. Her voice was like thunder in that concert.. She is totally swallowing a whole orchestra in this version and the voice is like thunder! She finished the tour in September I think in 1991 and this was December 1991, As usual she had recovered. Her voice here was what recorded most of the bodyguard album
What a perfect Beauty! The look and sound!
Her voice hit the stage like thunder
Whitney was one of a kind…No one sings like her…A VOCAL GODDESS♥️♥️♥️
Miss her so much🥲
The best!
YAY! Probably my favorite live performance from her.
