I think you're underselling Edgecombe's shooting. It looked really good his senior season and even better while playing for the Bahamas. People just assume he can't shoot because he's super athletic. If he were just a bit taller I think there'd be a case for him to go #2 or #3.
Calling Ratiopharm Ulm "Kilian Hayes' Alma Mata" sounds so disrespectful. They became the German champions last year ahead of two Euroleague clubs in Bayern Munich and Alba Berlin, while basically restructuring their recruiting focus to almost exclusively young prospects, which is really impressive, imo. In the last five years, four of their players got drafted (Pacome Dadiet, Kilian Hayes, Juan Nunez, and Jeremy Sochan), with two more possibly getting drafted this year (Ben Saraf and Noa Essenge). All this without Euroleague-Money. Isaiah Roby is playing for them this year as well, btw.
@@Sros1 dunno about you but did you look at raptors schedule for 1st half of season or even first 25 games. raptors can be bottoming out in early december getting rid of all their vets. they got blown out by wizards in preseason also yesterday.
If team fit is not considered in the article, why even include the team name? Wouldn't it make more sense to leave the team out of it entirely? Do we really need to know that #5 is mocked to the Chicago Bulls?
i really like brooklyn valueing skill over potential with their later first via MIL because they're not going to have valuable firsts after this year so they likely are gonna speed up their rebuild and sign stars or vets to pair with their young star the that they select this upcoming draft.
I had never heard of kasparas jakucionis before this video, so it prompted me to google him and I looked at his U18 fiba tournament stats from this past year. They have him listed as a 6'6 forward, but honestly he is a point guard. He averaged over 5 assists a game in the fiba tournament, and if he's playmaking like that in europe, imagine what he'd be doing in the NBA. I really hope that he shows his playmaking more this year in college, because having ANOTHER 6'6 point guard in this class would be even crazier
Random thought. If the Lakers didn't trade for AD they probably could have been a dynasty today. A lineup of Lonzo, Josh Hart, B Ingram, LBJ and AD (he was going to LA in free agency, we all know that), Alex Caruso would still be here also. Randle would not be a fit in the team and would be traded for like two decent/good bench players. Nowadays this team would be a perennial title contender, 100% best defensive unit in the NBA.
If Ad didn’t get traded to LA he wouldn’t be able to go there. The pelicans weren’t gonna let AD walk in free agency and no team is gonna trade for him if he wasn’t gonna resign.
Pacers really don't need another guard unless we're planning a trade. I hope we draft a Forward or a Center that can offer us more our backups can in the long run.
Egor Demin being that low is crazy. A 6’8 playmaker and solid shot creator with the ability to play positions 1-3 should be a consensus lottery selection
Hot take: Nolan Traore is the best player in this Draft. He needs no hype to be elite. Best Ballhandler, best shooter, always attacking the paint. He is so fast with the ball.
I heard Knueppel can really go tit for tat with anyone though. Chafes up on his man on the perimeter & defends well. He doesn’t get cold often so when he does it really sticks out.
No doubt Cooper Kupp will flourish under Coack K at Duke. Dylan Windler and Thurl Bailey are can’t miss prospects as well. Don’t overlook Grant Williams either.
people that saw fiba u18 knows Ben Saraf is much better than Nolan traore and if Saraf was a France guy he was higher than that's just because of his passport

The spurs will get a top 5 pick either via Atlanta, or their own pick being lucky

If dink pate learns to be more efficient with his scoring he could easily be top 15-20 but he still prob gonna be top 30
One guy that is very underrated and will be a 1st round pick after this year is Norte Dame’s Markus Burton
Ben Saraf has things you cant teach, his crazy playmaking and crafty shot making reminds me of luka

Grant Nelson from Alabama should be pretty good this year

Every year I have a “guy” this year it’s Dink
Maybe I missed it this off-season and completely bias as a timberwolves fan, but a video on ranking team’s bench depth would be fun.
