I'm hoping my bulls get walker Kessler. I think you do a 3 team trade Bulls get: walker Kessler & a 2025 1st from Utah Jazz get Brandon Clarke & two 1sts from Memphis Grizzlies get: vuc & a 2nd via the bulls
I’ve always been higher on LaVine than consensus, but the difference between his money and Jerami Grant’s is pretty sizable when matching salaries. Also, JG is just way more plug and play as a 6’8 3/4 vs a 6’5 scoring guard with injury issues who likes to have the ball in his hands. I also don’t see Chicago paying to get off his deal. They’d surely move him for some expirings, and depending on his health they may try to showcase him early this year and see if he can raise his stock by being healthy and playing well. Maybe he can return a bad 1st especially if Chicago is willing to take back some multi year money. LaVine has 43M this season, 46M next, and 48.97M PO in 26-27. Also a 15% trade kicker, though that won’t be much money added since he’s >30% of the cap this year, 29.74% next, and afaik trade kickers don’t get added for player options years but I didn’t double check that. He also may waive it if it means getting to a better spot. One issue is how hard matching 43M is, another is CHI only being 4.7M under the tax line. So they can’t take much $ back at all in a trade. They do have 15 guys but ya the lack of flexibility hurts. Like if it’s LAL, if LaVine showed he was healthy in the first 30G+ or so, maybe they’d send like DLo, Rui, JHS, Wood, and Vincent. That’s 5 guys and 53.6M. LaVine is 43M, could send back Ayo at 7M, Torrey Craig, that’d be 52.85. LAL could send Cam Reddish along with Wood to a 3rd team with a 2nd or two. That’d save them some $ and allow them to sign a minimum guy or w/e, close enough. Maybe LAL sends a swap to CHI in like 2028 and a cpl seconds to team 3. CHI would end up with JHS/swap/expiring money then Rui and Vincent. They could keep Rui or flip him to a 3rd team for some seconds. I think getting off of LaVine’s deal a year early, a lot of if two years early, JHS, a swap, and whatever they can get for DLo and Rui is a good return for Ayo & LaVine. That 2028 LAL swap could be great. Not doing exact math here but LAL has 15 guys so they can lose a guy or two and sign a minimum or two. Dumping Cam plus what they’d save from CHI would be close enough to what they’d need to sign a minimum or two to where they could figure it out. Maybe they could pickup a cheap C from team 3 as well or on the min market. It’d hurt to lose Rui for sure, but Ayo is a better fit with AR, and Craig can give them some bench mins. It’d basically be AR/LaVine/Vando/LBJ/AD, then Ayo/Christie/Knecht/Craig/Hayes, a C, a minimum guy, then Maxwell Lewis and Bronny. Maybe Lewis is in the trade who knows. But that’s a lot of depth to give up for sure. If LaVine was making like 30M instead of 43M it’d be a lot more doable. It’s hard to think of a team aside from LAL that’d want LaVine either. Jerami Grant could be plug and play for a million teams, so even tho he’s overpaid, I could see him getting moved for one decent 1st or so.
@@LUC4Z3 need someone to man the rebounding. Jaren is a career 5 rebound per game and he’s more of a weak side help defender, idk if edey can be that this fast
yo jazz fan here. most beat reporters seem to think sexton is staying put however walker, clarkson, and collins are all guys they’re gonna try and trade before the deadline
The warriors are extremely deep with 13 rotational players. Something has to give, and I'm sure they'd rather trade some them cut them, so likely someone will be traded for draft picks or other compensation.
Kessler's on the list because any team can acquire him with the 3 million dollar salary. The Knicks, Lakers, Pelicans, any of those teams with expensive payrolls can acquire him and extend him
I do like Sexton for LAL, I think he’d be a good fit vs DLo because of his added rim pressure. He’s not the shooter volume wise that DLo is, but he’s not far off either and I think his volume would increase. He’s obv not a good defender either, but I think he’s better than DLo. Maybe a trade involving DLo for Sexton and Kessler or something like that. I doubt LAL would want to give up a 1st plus expiring $ for those two, but maybe they could do DLo, a ‘28 unprotected swap, a couple 2nds, and JHS for Kessler and Sexton. That ‘28 swap is juicy, super high upside, and Utah would get off of Sexton’s $ earlier and a flier on JHS plus seconds isn’t a bad return. Maybe they’d also reduce the protection on the 1st they owe UTA in ‘27, like down to T2 instead of T4. So ‘28 unprotected swap, DLo’s expiring, JHS, a couple seconds, and reduce T4 protection on the 2027 1st down to T2 for Sexton & Kessler. I think that’d be a good trade for both teams tbh. LAL would save some $, maybe could dump reddish to UTA too and sigh a minimum guy or two. Then UTA would get basically all expiring $ beside JHS, that ‘27 1st becomes more valuable, ‘28 swap has great upside, and a cpl 2nds.
Kevin Huerter is gone the moment we find someone to unload him onto. The last thing a team with defensive concerns and too many guards need is a guy who can't play good defense while only even cracking the rotation because he's 6' 7" and we just need warm bodies to play backup wing minutes. Sending him off to Brooklyn for DFS or anywhere else willing to give us a rotational-grade combo forward who can play defense in return is the easiest way to improve the Kings.
I think Ingram could be traded to my Cavs like you said they needed a center and Jarrett Allen would be a good center for them, I also heard rumors they would trade Ingram to Cleveland
Bucks 100% trading ether Pat+salary filler for a center or Brook or Bobby for a center directly that drop not gona work against the good teams + Lopez is just way to slow and has regressed huge
The entire Jazz roster.

This is epic
Memphis needs Capela him and Jaren next to each other is solid plus they can move off of something like Clarke and Kennard to make salaries work
Memphis moving Kennard & Clarke but not for Capela I wouldn’t think. More wing depth for sure is a bigger need unless Edey is literally unplayable
I think its more likely they trade Smart if he doesnt improve.

Danny Ainge is a known criminal, he probably wants 3 firsts and an allstar

Move GP2, the others are great, really dig Buddy
The only way the Jazz is gonna move any of these players is if they offer realistic deals
I want them to keep Lauri, Collins & Kessler. George will be great.
