My one crazy prediction is that the race will actually be good.

Ferrari got better straight line speed and this track has a lot of straights. I wouldn't be surprised if Ferrari takes pole position or even a 1-2. The race is where the real excitement will be because Red Bull has better race pace

One of the best tracks ever. It doesn't even sound silly to say that. 3 years 3 incredible races.
Crazy prediction: Max and Charles take each other out in turn 1 and we get an epic battle for 1st between Carlos and Checo.
And then they're so busy battling Lando catches them and then they crash and he gets past. And so does George. And also Alex Albon is third for some reason.
10/10 for imagination for both of you.

i cant imagine what it would feel like for someone to believe in me as much as matt believes in leclerc
people forget that Piastri made Q3 in Saudi last year but he and Lando got damage on the first lap which nerfed their races
Yeah... And on top of that the track only has 3 slow speed corners out of 27. McLaren were fastest in the middle sector at Bahrain for qualifying and last year they were fastest in highspeed corners on a couple of tracks after the upgrade. I fully expect McLaren to do well this weekend.
I mean are we surprised that a RUclips channel isn't doing research and analyzing trends to make picks? This is purely a content dump for people to validate or defend their own predictions.

I hope beyond hope that a RedBull mechanic cross threads and strips a wheel nut causing Max a 30+ second pit stop and then we get to see him tear through the track trying to chase down Charles in first with 20 laps left.
And hopefully when he comes out in the field he is behind Fernando, Lewis, Carlos, and Checo with none of them all that willing to just let him go. I want to see him really battle.
Me too. And we know Max is not afraid to battle. Who’d of thought we’d miss the days of Max ruthlessly taking other cars out of position lol.
Nothing more exciting than watching a dominant driver start from back of field and slice everyone, including his own teammate, up.

I feel like they would just let him go. No one would fight him last year because redbull’s DRS was so good they couldn’t fight. I don’t think anyone would slow themselves down to try and delay the inevitable.

Nico and Kevin in the points for HAAS. This will be the biggest good surprise. I think a P5 and P7 finish will cause Alpine to fire everyone on there staff.

I’ll keep saying this until the boys change it. Race winning prediction - pick Max =1 pt; pick anyone else =3 pts (if they win obviously).
I don't think Matt should be able to call "2 VSC/SC's in Saudi" to be a crazy prediction. In 2021, there were 3 SC appearances, 2 red flags and 3 VSC's. In 2022, it was 1 SC and 1 VSC, and in 2023 just a single VSC. So that would be 1.67 SC and 1.33 VSC's per race on average there. So you can just see that it's not really a crazy prediction, it's more like a given that we will see 2 or more SC/VSC during the race.
If it's not been already said, my prediction is that Yuki takes out Ricciardo somewhere mid-race creating an instant episode for DTS Season 7!

The intro was an amazing mindfuck. I could tell something was wrong, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it til I thought about it for a few seconds. You guys should do that kind of thing a bit more often (just occasionally, don't overdo it!).

because of the highspeed track for sure some drivers make mistakes or a car or two engines break down due to overheating.
I think that one of the RB's will score points this weekend, and i'm locking in yuki tsunoda to be in the points. I think perez will win, but not by a large margin. I think it will be a photo finish type of ending between both redbull's

You had me tweaking at the start
Im not gonna lie, the McLaren prediction is actually a possibility.
In 2022 they had the slowest car in Bahrain, didnt add any upgrades, and ended up being quickest of midfield along with Alpine in Jeddah.
Last year although the results sucked the pace was there.
Oscar got to Q3 (again slowest in Bahrain but with no upgrades were up there) and Lando had front wing damage on his lap to get to Q2.
In the race Oscar and Lando both got shunted in the opening lap and were miles off for the rest of the race.
But as far as pace goes, McLaren in the last couple years have a tendacy to just leapfrog up the field despite no upgrades. So its not that hard to imagine they end up around about there with Ferrari this weekend.

My crazy prediction is that their will be 1 crash/incident each day of the race weekend.
Watching this at 4 AM, that intro spooked me more than any horror movie ever did! WTF!
