- Finally finished my first fursuit! Woooooo! :P
I am very happy and proud of what I have made
There are still a few touches I need to make on it. The zipper is inside out and is slightly exposed, especially in the stomach area. I need to make a fur neck, add some teeth and tongue to the mouth. But it's pretty much done no matter what else I do.

Aww, try not to compare cuz we're all at different parts of our journey. I get down on myself when I compare my suit to actual professional fursuits, but then I realize that I'm wasting my time doing that.

Honestly one of the most impressive first fursuits I've ever seen. Such a great job, especially for someone starting with little sewing practice (same here lol).
Also you talking about how annoying it is to thread a sewing machine is super relatable 😂
AHAHAHA threading the machine is annoying! I can't tell you how many times the thread shot up the machine or came out of the needle.. But I'm so glad I don't have to hand sew nearly as much anymore. The machine is utterly superior.

I'm currently making my first fursuit as well and your videos have been so helpful and inspiring! It's been really cool to see your process navigating through this craft. It does get very difficult! There's so many weird problems you run into that you never expect.

I'm so impressed by how good your suit looks. Black/orange/white work so well together to catch the eye. I've commissioned my own suit, but more than ever I feel I should at least make an attempt to construct my own one. The mistakes aren't mistakes - they're learning experiences. I've learned (but still have trouble accepting) that if a mistake doesn't stand out, don't draw attention to it; only YOU (and probably other suit makers) will know it's there. The average Joe will see this and say it looks awesome. Make another suit, hone your craft. Maybe take on a commission if you feel bold enough. Don't stop making suits (though you might run out of storage space). Continue to improve. Well done.

I saw your first video of making your fursuit head when it was first posted, but RUclips recently recommended me another video of your and I'm so happy to see you've made a whole suit in this time! It's so cool, such a gorgeous design and really well made for a first suit!! 14:40 its coming off because you’re either cutting the fibers off or since youre cutting it the edge of the cut just normally comes off (idk how to explain)

If the arms are still to tight I’d recommend cutting a straight line up to the shoulder under the arm in line with the middle of the armpit measuring the length, cutting a a 1/2 in width strip at that goes into a point at the top, and sew that in ^^

One thing that might make it easier to sew the fur with the sewing machine is to use a bigger seam allowance :)
yeah maybe, but I feel the height of the foot is what made it hard
When I was done with my duct tape dummy, I took out the stuffing and folded it up
Oh why
@Kasperanzaa I didn't have a good place to keep a full-sized dummy of my body, so I removed the stuffing after, put the stuffing in a big bag, and the duct tape dummy in a box. I can always restuff it if I ever need it again

These days there's so many great tutorials that this is very much possible. If I were to try one, it would probably be similar to this. Maybe you're still very young so it seems more difficult to you.
