Featured here for the first time, 5 unreleased demos of the original unused version of the song, "New Horizons", from the forgone attraction at EPCOT Center. For those who remember Horizons fondly, this is a unique look at some of the ideas that were presented during the development process. Enjoy!

I love the little intro from the conductor on demo 4, really gives an idea of all these musicians and singers recording this magic!
As a music enthusiast, I love these ride music from Disney.

Curiously, "New Horizons" was the theme of the Futurama I exhibit at the 1939-1940 NY World's Fair

I miss Horizons. First ride was in Aug 1993 (prob 8/20/83). What a marvelous attraction, though sometimes it got a little slow. However the scenery and details more than compensated for it.
BTW - there was no gift shop at the end of the ride!!!😃😃😃
I didn’t get to ride it but I got obsessed with it during late 2020 and early 2021. I found out that there was a recreation of it in Minecraft but that server closed in early 2020.
