When it comes to my passport, I am so nervous about losing it, I will check 5 or 6 times that I have it before I leave. Once I arrive in my destination abroad, I put it away and don't take it out, except when needed. Same thing before heading home, I have been traveling abroad by myself since I was 18. I have never lost or misplaced my passport to this point, and I am over 50. I always keep it out of site, but in the same spot so that I am not looking in a bunch of different places for it. Same place every time. That way, I know immediately if it is missing. I use my passport card, as a secondary ID.
Same, I constantly check it, as if it has legs and will run away and hide. 😄 Thankfully, I haven’t lost mine either and hope it never happens.🤞 Agreed, if you keep it in the same spot every time, you’ll always know where it is or know if it’s missing.
You’re right, because I hardly think about accidentally losing my passport during my travels. So I thought, why not make a video about it! 🙂 This could happen to any of us and unfortunately it does, so it’s best to be prepared just in case. Awww, you’re so sweet. Thank you! 😊💕
When making copies of your passport, make sure you have more than one copy. Also, it will be a good idea to apply for the Global Entry ID. You can use it like a passport card or your state driver's license or ID for situations like this.
I'm trying to understand why if I need an emergency passport in the DR USA Embassy, the appointments are fully booked for the next 5 weeks, is there another way to get an appointment within the 3 days before the travel date.
It shouldn’t take that long. Yes, go to the Embassy with all your required documents Monday through Thursday at 7:00am. Note that applications will not be accepted after 11am.
My Indian passport with the US f1 visa was lost.I misplaced that while going to USA.I recently applied for a new passport. Can I obtain a visa without scheduling visa appointment? Please provide any suggestions.
I’m not quite sure about F-1 or J-1 Visas. I recommend calling the Embassy, explain your situation and ask if an appointment is required or if they accept walk-ins.
Have you ever lost your passport while abroad?

Great information that most travelers don’t pay attention to. BTW, you always look gorgeous but that periwinkle color looks glorious on you. ❤️
