Apply for passport book, passport card, and Global Entry ID card. All can be used as form of ID. Especially if you have a problem or issue getting the Real ID for USA travel or when you are waiting for a replacement of your lost or stolen driver's license or state ID,

I apply only of the passport book but for next time I will get both of them cause my passport expires like in 7 years more. I like to use the book cause I really like to collect stamps and keep them as a souvenir of all my trips. But I think the card is a great addition to the combo. For example I don’t have to carry a copy of my passport or my actual passport to fill a W2 etc. I think the passport book is a great combo.

On sept 13 I apply for both I got my certificate and passport book back they both came with a red ink written with “please fix your address” but I let it be since I have it but my card hasn’t come yet idk who to contact for it
I got text messages too, a usps link where I have to pay 30 cents and confirm my address which I did on the same night I got charge 600$ thanks got I notice it immediately and called my credit and got it fix

I agree. 👍 Also, you can actually apply for a Passport card at any time. You don’t have to wait until your Passport book expires.

I would still take my passport book when going international.
