How to make your own passport photos | Cheap DIY | Taking and Printing them

Are you traveling and you need your passport photo taken but too scared that they're going to turn out terrible? NOT TO WORRY In this Video I show you a simple cheap way to take, make and print your own passport photos. This was a very simple DIY that anyone can do! all you really need is a white/cream wall and a camera that has a flash on it! Lol they used a phone to take my picture. And when it was being printed out, she then zoomed in sooo much that it got all blurry. Not to mention, the lighting sucked my face looked red! I paid around $15…..

same experience with walgreens photos. my photo totally flopped with the lighting and being rushed by the person. didn’t let me re-take it either and i was being a nice girl and didn’t argue it. this is my second bad experience with walgreens photos. shoulda learned the first time. however years ago i did passport photos at costco and the whole experience; photography and professionalism was on point. too bad they don’t do photos anymore.

BRUH. I literally wasted so much money taking 2 photos at walgreens... SMFH this was so much cheaper! Passports stay forever as memories that your children and spouse will run across some day! You use it all the time! Might as well look good in it!

I just want to say thank you for this info. I bought mine in Walmart and they where terrible, blurried, with a yellow hue, and I was smiling. I didn't know they require a neutral face. So before I sent the application i came across your video and I was skeptical, but I gave it a try. I took my photo and they came out great and only 41 cents for the print at CVS. I agree with everyone else. Concise and easy to understand. This saved me a few dollars. I ended up putting it towards expedited delivery. This is why the government will never run out of money. $16-$22 for a photo done on a digital camera and printed on photo paper and the same digital photo you took and have printed out at the drug store cost you .38 cents.

Thanks for the video, per their website, matte or glossy is accepted:
Resolution, Print Size, and Quality:
Submit a high-resolution photo that is not blurry, grainy, or pixelated.
The correct size of a passport photo is:
2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm)
Head must be between 1 -1 3/8 inches (25 - 35 mm) from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head
Printed on matte or glossy photo quality paper.

I’ve been procrastinating taking my passport photos for like a year and now that I know i can take them at home. It’s even better because I can take as many as I want if I don’t like how they look. Also another reason I didn’t want to go lol

THANK YOU. I wasted $32 trusting CVS and the place I did my TSA Precheck application at by letting them take my passport photo. One was grainy and the other was bad lighting. I really hope this method works out because it was easy, CHEAP, and in my control. And lol at the one comment saying it looked like a mug shot bc YES MINE DID TOO LMAO
