All our loved ones will pass on someday that’s just life man, also I lost my granny but you gotta move on and you can still remember them.Through the heart
This looks like peace on earth, i can feel the love all the way down here in newzealand. remain strong my native brothers and sisters and keep your culture alive.
This is so refreshing. A little one embracing the tradition being passed from his elders. His heart speaks loudly. He's already earned more respect than a lot of adults. I knew an elder in a tribe here in WA and I learned a lot from him, his views on life and the Native American culture as a whole. I was fortunate enough to see Chief Looking Horse when he came to Olympia thanks to my friend who was on his security team. This is a little chief in the making. Thanks for sharing.
I love seeing videos like this!! It's such a positive thing to see I'm super excited for the future with all these great young souls! I just hope we can do our job and leave the proper foundations to keep them moving forward!!
My nephew is very talented musically. Proud if him for inspiring not only a generation of young singers but by the comments hes helped alot of you through his singing. Washde ishnish for the kind words.

So good! I use to live in that place called Fort Thompson, that's the area were we do celebrations for Native people like us:) but now I live in a city with my mother. Many ppl know my grandmother, Faith, in Fort Thompson. She is still alive n is 72, doing good in Fort Thompson.
Aaron letendre from Alexis First Nations, his song, this song in particular has a legacy now. He sang this as a child to get the people up, together when moving. Now the song has been passed on and his legacy continues. I’m so proud of my cousin and all he’s done to assure the young ones always had a song to sing.

I am not native but I really like listening to native music, have many favorites. I watch them as much as i do modern stuff. Not a want to be or pretend to understand but appreciate and love what i have learned. Years now, not a phase. Loved it since my brothers girlfriend was a mohawk. She knew nothing much of her culture so I learned when i was a teen. Just loved it. I had an elder pass through my line in my senior year of high school ans invited me to a powwow. I was shy and didnt know what to make of it. I noticed her medicine puch and we talked thats how it came about. I wish i went, what an honour but my own self limitations stopped me. She was so proud i knew about her culture. Never stopped 20 years plus just keep learning. So much out there but not enough. Anyways. Thats my storey.
