Definitely one of your better videos. Having the cameraman follow you around is a good idea and he's getting good clean shots of what you're trying to show. Very well done!

You know the room is still full of fiberglass so it's not safe to remove the respirator right after grinding. You need to fully vent it and replace all the air in the room to make it totally free of contaminants (or do all the grinding outside). Same goes for grinding or sanding metal.

Sure would like to see this process on the 33 Hot Rod! Especially the hood and trunk lid!!! Seem mostly all we see or hear about is on the MK IV ! 😕

Would be nice to see the driver’s door, and this is side that never fits, is hard to adjust...

Any chance at a series for the coupe? Or at least 1 using these videos as a starting point?

So, does the gap change when you get the engine in the car and have it on the ground? Does any type of flex change the gap?

Due to the construction method of the frame and the mounting method of the body, this is typically not an occurrence on a Factory Five kit. - Dan, FFR Tech

Question: Does the doors, hood, and trunk door come from a separate mold? In case I mess mine up, I can order a replacement?

    • @factoryfive

Yes, we have different molds for those panels so say you need to order a new driver's door, you can order that from us.

Everybody I talk to says this is the one part they dread and don't want to do. I'd rather pay you guys before the car leaves your factory.

Damni trimmed it three times and the gap is still too wide!

Kind of funny that this build series is taking as long to finish as most builder's take on their cars. Not really confidence inspiring for getting one of these built in a reasonable amount of time.
