So aside from the obvious dates I would time travel to when it comes to family and special events these are the two dates outside of family I would travel back to you - I would travel back in time to November 21, 2016 when I turn down a gig at first because I had double booked myself by mistake. It was a six year old boys birthday who was insanely into magic. When I found out how bummed out he was about my cancellation it really affected me so I was able to actually bring him along to a couple Performances which those two performances ended up being flawless. But the smile that it put on his face and the feeling of gave me given that boy the time of his life is worth living again! The second time I would time travel to would be the start of bitcoin of course as many probably will say. To become an early investor and have a nice fat egg to sit on right now would also be nice but still a second Pl. to my first date
As I started to get older I lost my passion for magic but have recently picked it back up again. I would go back in time and tell myself to keep going!!
I would go back on the day a month before my all-state jazz audition and tell myself to practice harder and everyday... but regardless I love the effect, you're such a great person!!
If I could travel back to any day of my life, I would travel back to my eighth bday to introduce a love of magic to my childhood self. I started doing magic around my thirtieth bday, which was just a few years back. Had I started magic at the young age of eight, I would be so much more developed & proficient as a magician. Id like to go back to the very beginning of my journey learning magic, about 10 or so years ago. Just so I can enjoy doing it all over again and having my mind blown every time I see/find a new effect I've never seen. I miss being hardcore fooled all the time by magic, not to say that doesn't happen anymore, it does, just not as much as it used too.
I'd like to see the days before my grandmother died.. It was around my 14th birthday and I had chance to visit her but wanted to continue playing with my cousins and thought I'd be able to see her a few days later... Unfortunately, she passed 2 days later. That's where my emotional issues started and it took 20yrs to sort things out.... What a difference a day makes
I would go back to my first trip to Sde-Boker, in the Negev desert of Israel when I was 14. To get that magical feeling of the majestic desert canyons appearing for the first time. I fell in love with the desert that day and have been hiking all over it ever since!
I'd back in early February 1977, when I was a kid and just want to give my dad a big hug. It was the last day I saw my dad before he past away a couple of days later.
I'd go back to the day I first found out about magic. I wouldn't change it but I would love to experience the feeling I had when I first worked out how a trick was done one again.
I would go back to a day when my gran was still alive and before her alzheimer's and enjoy a full day with her, the only thing I would change would be that I still have all my current memories so I can appreciate the past more

Hi Jay, thank you for that 'time travel' trick. I think its the best coin routine I've seen that utilises a relatively simple sleight...twice! Ive always thought it would be cool to travel back to see the live aid concert. Not for the reasons why it happened but just for the concert itself. It was in my lifetime but didnt see it live. I would travel back in time to the day my sister graduated from Marine Corps Bootcamp and this time I would ensure that I was there to celebrate with her after her graduation. I missed that, but was able to be there as she retired from the Marine Corps.
I would go back to Saturday, September 3, 2011. Last time I ever saw my Dad. Great conversation with my Dad (Best friend, Brother in Christ, Hero, etc.).
Jay has not paid me to say what I'm about to say, nor am I doing any "fellatio" in order to get free stuff or whatever. Jay Sankey, in my opinion (and probably about 95% fact), should be known as one of the best magicians/magic teachers in the world. But not just that, he uses a lot of humor during his teachings because he knows this world needs all the humor it can get. But Jay has been known to be this sort of person for a long time. He is human, so I'm sure the dude gets angry from time to time, but I just can not see him to the point of being mean and rude to someone. I think he is a great gift to the magic world because of all of his positive modes he uses while performing and teaching. I won't go on and on because I think I just summed it up enough. Keep up the great work, Jay. You are certainly my top inspiration for magic and learning.
great little effect @sankeyMagic! :-) But to add a cleaner modification to the ending of the two coins (at about 13:50 in the video), when you go into your pocket for the first coin, secretly leave the second coin there and come out and cleanly show the 1 coin. give it to the spectator or place on the table. then you have an option of cleanly and actually retrieving the second coin from your pocket... or better yet, having the spectator reach in (if feasible) and pulling the coin out themselves.
If i can time travel, i will go back to one day prior to undo the recent mistakes. And also i would have emailed you that when you will ask this question, my comment will be this.....You might have got amazed that i can see future :) Probably you would have also realised my loyalty towards your channel :) which means even on this special time I would have watched your channel 🙂 By the way, from this channel you have taught so many things from my initial days of learning magic...i might have seen your most videos from beginning till now (just skipped the core card magic because i don't do that )

Trying to pick just one date to visit is tough. My inner geek is thinking about 6 weeks ago when I got to walk around The Batcave at work. The real set for Michael Keaton's itteration. As a fan of his Batman and films in general it was a special whistle stop tour. Beyond that.... Any time pre covid19 where we could travel and just live normally would be nice.
My uncle used to own a magic shop. I would go back to the day my parents let me visit his shop and start my magic education then instead of waiting until my late 20's/ early 30's. My skill level would be so much higher than it is
I would go back to my wedding day and instead of forgetting to bring the rings I would use this palm to make them magically appear thus saving the day!
Going back & changing 1 thing would be out of the question for me. Good, bad & allllll the grey between made me who I am today & I like me... As for reliving any day, as is.... I'd probably choose anytime when I was 6-10 years old, just to see the world through naive eyes one last time... & I have quite a bit of practice to do now. This was a beautiful routine & what I call magic!

It was a sunny day of 2016 and I was in 7th grade and I was running in the corridor with my friend (still regret it till this day 😔) and there was a big door whole made up of glass and I ran towards it and tried to open it with my hands and as u all can predict it broke into pieces it it gave me a scare on my forehead and u wouldn't believe that morning only one of my other friends showed me a magic trick with a deck of cards and I asked him from where he learn it he told me RUclips and gave me his deck of cards to me for practicing and that deck of cards was in my pocket while I was in the operation theatre and I was lucky enough that I made out of that incident with just one scar🤞.And from that day my magic journey began ❤️. I would go back in time and change that moment and stop running like a fool in the corridor 😂😂........

IF I COULD TRAVEL BACK IN TIME TO ANY DATE.... I would go back to my birthday in 1955 and start my life all over again BUT retaining the knowledge and memories of all the things I did wrong in THIS lifetime. I would then be able to change things for the better as I get older, both in my own life and the lives of others. 😅
I’d go back to my youngest daughter’s actual birth day…so magical. Reason I picked that over my wedding or first daughter’s birthday is that we were all there for my youngest daughter’s…the other big days, the youngest wasn’t born yet. Love finger palm btw. So easy, but done well, amazingly deceptive.

He used to show me little bits of magic that used to amaze me... thinking back now they were terrible but that's what got me started. But more than that you start to forget his voice and worry you will forget their face 😥... he started me off qith magic! RIP 🙏

June 25th, 1968 - A day of fishing with my Grandfather, Dad, and brothers. The only thing I would do different is make sure that my little brother did not play with the fish stringer over the side of the boat which he unfasten and the catch faded into the deep dark lake. The catch was very impressive by the size and number of fish which would have gotten a our picture taken at the docks to be preserved as a great reminder of a great fishing day. I still remember the day but without the picture it is just another big fish story .

Wow, what a powerful deception! I can confirm the deception because I experienced the strength of your time misdirecton by accident, so to speak. When you had already explained the basic vanishing move and then showed an effect with it, I popped some peanuts into my mouth at the exact moment you made the false transfer. And believe it or not, I could have sworn that I really saw the coin go into your left hand.
I have three day i would like to travel.. to my wedding day! It was amazing!😍 but maybe i would rather go to the day before my father died, and make peace with him! 😪 or the day I injured my self at work an lost fine motor skills from my left hand and got CRPS2 syndrome... no need to think twice.. i would travel to the day my father was still alive and call him!!! 💙 R.I.P. dad!
Sorry Jay. I cant say to which day i would go back in time. My wedding, the birth of my sons where great days. The time with my grandparents was great. The time now is great. Gettin better in magic. The time with the kids. There is no special day i want to live again. There are so many days. But i would never change something in my life. All the things that happend, have to be. And they are good so. This was one of the hardest questions you ever did, but thank you to remind me at all the good things that happend in this life.
I would go back at 15 when was min my prime in sports. I would also hope that all my magic knowledge would follow me. so i could perform to my mother...
It would be hard to go back to a day and don't do anything differently. I would go back to october 31 1985 and instead of getting 15th row seats for sting's dream of the blue turtle concert in dallas, I would have gotten front row seats.

The only thing I would do different is make sure that my little brother did not play with the fish stringer over the side of the boat which he unfasten and the catch faded into the deep dark lake. The catch was very impressive by the size and number of fish which would have gotten a our picture taken at the docks to be preserved as a great reminder of a great fishing day. I still remember the day but without the picture it is just another big fish story .

When you had already explained the basic vanishing move and then showed an effect with it, I popped some peanuts into my mouth at the exact moment you made the false transfer.

I have three day i would like to travel.. to my wedding day! It was amazing!😍 but maybe i would rather go to the day before my father died, and make peace with him! 😪 or the day I injured my self at work an lost fine motor skills from my left hand and got CRPS2 syndrome... no need to think twice.. i would travel to the day my father was still alive and call him!!! 💙 R.I.P. dad!
Sorry Jay. I cant say to which day i would go back in time. My wedding, the birth of my sons where great days. The time with my grandparents was great. The time now is great. Gettin better in magic. The time with the kids. There is no special day i want to live again. There are so many days.
But i would never change something in my life. All the things that happend, have to be. And they are good so. This was one of the hardest questions you ever did, but thank you to remind me at all the good things that happend in this life.
I would go back and not paid any attention to a girl that ruined my life. 😂

So aside from the obvious dates I would time travel to when it comes to family and special events these are the two dates outside of family I would travel back to you -
I would travel back in time to November 21, 2016 when I turn down a gig at first because I had double booked myself by mistake. It was a six year old boys birthday who was insanely into magic. When I found out how bummed out he was about my cancellation it really affected me so I was able to actually bring him along to a couple Performances which those two performances ended up being flawless. But the smile that it put on his face and the feeling of gave me given that boy the time of his life is worth living again!
The second time I would time travel to would be the start of bitcoin of course as many probably will say. To become an early investor and have a nice fat egg to sit on right now would also be nice but still a second Pl. to my first date
I would return to any full day with my paternal grandfather. He was super smart at problem solving and I was too stupid to pay attention and learn from him.
