Beautiful card. I really like how easy it was for you to use the watercolor pencils. For me these will be easier than regular painting. Can’t wait to try them.
I was curious to hear your opinion of these watercolor pencils and was happy to hear that you like them. I have them and fell in love the first time I used them. I have a few other brands but admit that I'm not a fan. I think the difference with these is that they are softer so that when applying I feel I'm getting better coverage more quickly. I also found that they not only blend beautifully, but I am able to blend out the edges so that there are no hard lines. I'll be watching to see if you do more videos using them. Thanks for the video but I was confused by the mention of Iuile Watercolors below the title of this video.
Your card turned out beautiful. I love the bright white snowflakes against the darker background. It looks like those new watercolor pencils work great.
Your voice is always so soothing when you talk about your designs. It just calms my mind every time :) always love your creations and can’t wait for your December greatness!!
Lovely to see the new pencils on one of your gorgeous backgrounds! LOVE the ombré effect you achieved and the snowflakes look beautiful over it. Those droplets were a gorgeous finish too. xoxo
Beautiful card! If you add a bit of heat before placing the paper towel over the droplets, you'll get the reaction you're looking for on the lighter tones.
I got my 1st Stamptember order in today which included set one of the pencils; now that I've seen set 3 put to use with these lovely snowflakes, I might need to place another order! Love this! (Or I could try this with snowflakes I have and the black, purple and blue pencils in set 1!!!).
What a beautiful card! Can you tell me about that Aquarello watercolor paper? Is it smooth? It looks to be because you were able to stamp pretty crisply with the emboss ink and the embossed image looks great. I have problems with my water color paper being a bit too rough and not able to stamp on top reliably.
How many superlatives can I come up with? Love this card and I'm so excited to use Tim's new pencils. Also, thank you so much for the tip about watercolor paper absorbing heated embossing powder. I had NO clue. I have had it happen to me more than once and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.
If you’re adding water/paint to paper, for best results use watercolor paper. Regular paper is not meant to be wet and will break down. Watercolor paper can handle water.
Annemarie, the stamps are not sold out yet! Click the first link in the video description. It’s just the stamps & dies combo set that is sold out. NOT the stamps.
Sometimes it’s unavoidable. I do that all the time. However, as long as you’re careful while stamping, and do not press the stamp too hard, it should be just fine. (If you press too hard it can “squish” the stamp down and cause those accidentally inked edges to stamp as well).

So beautiful, Kristina! You are such a good teacher.

In the vinyl record world, manufacturing errors are highly prized-especially with collectibles. 😉

can you use watercolor pencils or other watercolors on regular cardstock, or do you have to buy watercolor paper.

Beautiful!!😍😍
Great card….
So beautiful, Kristina! So sad the stamp set is not available anymore! It sold out in minutes!!

How do I avoid getting ink on the non stamp parts of the stamp?:(

@@kwernerdesign thank you so much!
