after i saw this video all : honestly you become morocan lol you were correct in many points on your list . and about pick pocket in casablanca , just dont over trust it because at night and where is no people its not safe even morocan people may get problems with africans or morocans . THIS WAS MY OPINION : your valuable points were correct . AND IN MOROCO WHEN YOU ARE WITH FAMILY THEY RESPECT FAMILY THATS WHY THEY DONT DISTURB YOU ALRIGHT
I lived in Rabat for like 7 years, and it was probably the best experience of my life (more like short life, I'm still 22 so...). From my perspective, Rabat changed very quickly. It became this very clean, safe, modern and beautiful city that I go to twice or even three times a year. Few months ago I was actually in Rabat and I decided to visit Casablanca with a childhood friend, and I was simply shocked because of how big Casablanca is.

Another super informative video. I'd say Casablanca is more iconic, so much to do. Rabat is modern (super easy to settle in as an expat, it's basically Europe) but more quiet and family oriented. I'd say for single younger people, Casablanca is the place to be. If you're a family with children, 100% Rabat.

Rabat is saffer and cleanest than Casa. Chill and a better place for families
Casa seems a place to be for businesses. More vibrant and chaotic (depend to the area)

This is the wider problem that it's become a profession...
Nowadays Casablanca main city area has a population of 4 million people and grand Casablanca (including smaller towns surrounding in casablanca perifery) 8 million. In Casablanca majority of tourists go to Hassan 2 mosque area. In front of it is that kinda old medina/illegal housing area that city has tryed to get rid of for ages. People that live der are demanding crazy stuff cuz they dont wanna leave such a central place. Thats why people call it a bit dangerous. There re awesome projects planned for the area but first need to replace them people. I would recommend to go check Casablanca finance city->new city district/center under construction. Massive park as well...many towers etc.. bouskoura .. victoria green city.. california.. Casablanca has lots of greenish and calm areas as well and now leaders wanna make casablanca as well more touristic. Till now it has been the melting pot of Morocco, people from all around the country moving in to work. Loads of europeans as well living der from belgium france spain etc...
Basically if you wanna do business and want more nightlife options and big city vibe-> Casablanca
If you want more calm, clean/green, safe, life with maybe less nightlife restaur..etc options then Rabat. Anyway using tgv highspeed train u can reach Casablanca from Rabat in an hour.

I was born in rabat, grew up in casablanca. casablanca people are more abrupt, random, like to talk a lot, tell jokes, rude at times but without realizing. casablanca has more people from regions of morocco. Fes traders settled in casablanca long time back, and berbers ( souss people= chlou7) are the main providers of convenience stores. Be ware of thieves, not only on motorbikes but also all sorts, class people, restaurants, administrations. Rabat is less hooha hooha. the people of rabat are a bit more stressed because of administrative jobs. they think they are the best because it's the king's caoital. of course you can find good and bad even here in malaysia. rabat is cleaner than casablanca. i dont know why casablanca people ( the badies) are dirtier...a lot of country pumpkin people😅
