While I am super duper excited for this, I have to be completely honest and say that if Logan and Veronica don't end up together, I'll be extremely disappointed.

The movie has to be able to appeal even to non-fans. Bringing in Duncan just makes things too complicated.
Chris Leonardi Yes, I am aware of that :/ But I think that if the movie is meant to please the fans after so many years, they could at least do that. I know I'm part of the minority that liked Duncan, so the LoVe fans don't give a crap about him not even being mentioned, but not all the fans like LoVe.

after spending last March watching all the episodes of Veronica Mars, I'm more than ready for this in so many ways.
Just watched it. This film is for every single one of you who watched at least some of Veronica Mars (though personally I don´t know anyone who started and didn´t get hooked). If what the writers wanted was to sort put a normal ending to the series, they def reached their goal. Also, I absolutely loved the chemistry between the cast. The wit and suspense were enjoyable as they used to be on the show. It´s just that the plot wasn´t very original. Very Hollywood.. Anyway, was very exciting to watch it.
special shout out to all those who have been waiting for this movie since the show was originally canceled. i started watching in the winter of 2011 so my wait was not as long.

This is exactly what my sister did. Movie, then show. But since there are a few easter eggs for those who have seen the show, it may be more enjoyable to watch the show first. You can do it either way, but for the more enjoyable experience watch the show first. You'll appreciate it more ;)

This looks so amazing! Backing this on Kickstarter was the best decision I made in 2013! I've rewatched this at least 10 times so far! ... Does anyone know what the song at the end is? It's so cool! It fits perfectly and sends shivers up my arms cause I'm so excited haha! Yay can't wait for March!!
Most people said it got worse and worse as the series went on so I never go into it.
patsybob Well seasons one and two were both good. Season three suffered after the midpoint, but watching it, it seems as if they didn't know how many episodes they were going to be able to do, so they wrapped everything up quickly and then did these sort of one off episodes that didn't really work. The teaser/ minisode they made for a season 4 revamp with college graduate VM in the FBI looked promising, but the network didn't go for it.

Just saw the movie a couple of days ago and it was FANTASTIC!! If haven't watched the series your missing out and the movie is just as amazing on it's own, but your going to appreciate it more if you have watched the show. There just so many Easter eggs I've seen it 3x now and I'm still finding new things every time!!
I admit: I've never seen the Veronica Mars series. I never heard of it until recently.
And yet I want to see this movie.

hate to say it but I feel Kickstarter was for marketing purposes for the Veronica Mars movie. Your not getting all the actors in this film for 2 mil. they were making this movie no matter what. Hollywood killed Sundance and now will do the same to Kickstarter, that is if OUYA didn't do that already.

This gives me hope for other tv shows that abruptly ended and deserved a movie or a true ending. For example, Angel or especially for me Roswell!
Firefly was one that did and it was a good movie. Only problem is the distributor didn't really market it that well. But it still got good reviews.
Angel actually got continued in a comic book. It picks up literally where the show ends. It's a good read. The medium worked real well for the material, as they could do things in a comic that are harder to do on a TV show, for example, Angel taming the dragon.
Both Angel and BTVS already have continuations in form of comic books.

I remember seeing an article comparing the show to buffy with regards to the season story arc..watched one episode and was hooked. When I was in college I devised a marketing plan promoting the show to ireland. It was a fun project..I can't wait for the movie...the trailor looks great..
Kristen Bell is the sweetest, I love her as Veronica Mars. I've only seen the 1st season of VM, so I'm wondering if I have to watch the entire series to understand the movie.
The series is definitely worth watching (especially season 2!), but the producer assures the movie is for newcomers and fans alike. :)
Betty Cockroach Season 2 blew my mind and made me cry so bad, even more than Season 1.

Season 1 explains most of Veronica's life and backstory, so that season is a must see as well. You will understand the second season and the characters a lot more if you watch Season 1 first :) I would love to know what you think of the show if you do give it a try :D

S2 explores Veronica as a person and expands upon the setting of Neptune.
S3 explores the darker sides of Veronica and explains why this movie starts the way it does.

I don't know if you've ever seen the tv show, Veronica Mars, but this movie continues that story. I would call this a crime dramedy.

This trailer needed better editing. If I was an outsider, I wouldn't know what to make of it. Is it an action movie? a mystery thriller? a comedy? a high school reunion movie? And while the answer might be "all of the above", it's not targeted towards an audience--which is what you're trying to gain with a trailer.

I have to agree. As a huge fan of the series I will love the film no matter what, but I don't think this trailer is going to sell this to anybody who hasn't seen the show. It's all over the place.

Never watched a Veronica Mars episode -- never even watched a preview.
But I can see why the fans love it. This looked Great. ... A bit cheesy in parts, and a little like a TV movie. But it still looks better and more fun than most big screen flicks.

You should watch the series! It's fantastic. Very original. I always know who did it, etc. when I watch tv series, but I was completely in the dark for most of this series. I loved not knowing what was going to happen next. It was such a great show.
