Attended Tresham College 1979 to 1981 before going to university. Very good teachers. A very pleasant town in those days with helpful and kind people. Fond memories
I sometimes play your videos in the background while I work and it's always such a wonderful experience to hear noise from some other part of the world in my studio. Thanks so much! : )
@@Nataly01010 FairPlay, I mean I’ve lived here all my life- and what’s in the video- is a lot worse in real life. The place is just a run down mess with a lot of bad features
The 90s were the best time to be in Kettering - Fleckies, Cotton Club, going into town on a Saturday morning and hanging around the Newborough Centre clock fountain (now the “Newlands Centre”) - town was JAM PACKED on the weekend. Having a fry up in the restaurant upstairs (I forget the name - it’ll come to me…) lots and lots and lots of memories. We used to go go Wicksteed Park with my Dad, back in the early 80s on a Monday (his day off), and he’d buy us a wristband each and we’d have such fun on the pirate ships, “Cine 2000”, et cetera. 😃 I must confess to having said “I hate Kettering” countless times as a youngster, had a few bad experiences there, but they were outnumbered by good ones and fond memories 1,000x! GOD bless you. Thanks for the upload. Спасибо большое
I'm from Corby. Me and my mates used to go on nights out in Kettering sometimes. We'd always end up in Fleckies at the end of the night. Always a good night in Kettering back then. Extra and O'Malley's were good bars to start in.
Hi from Denver Co USA I lived in Kettering from 1978 to 1986 . And went TO ISEBROOK FROM 78 TO 83 . I EVEN WENT TO tresham college for a year . My first job was Gap display Ltd . On 11 king street . Was there till I immigrated to USA. .
Very interesting video, I was born in Kettering then living in Geddington. My Dad Bernard Cook was part of a well known village family. As a child we saw Tommy Steel in Kettering, I think in the now Bingo Hall. It was fun to try and work out what had stayed the same. Very little since I was last in the town in 1961.
I’m glad you picked up on that too. I noticed how they answered from a Kettering number right back in the 90s. Also Kettering was mentioned on Corrie a couple of weeks ago 😁
Just moved here six months ago , I like it , it's quite quiet and the people all seem much friendlier than what we were used to in Milton Keynes.
I bet lol
I used to spend a lot of my summer holidays and half terms staying with my auntie in Kettering, She still lives there now, nice place

The amount of negative feedbacks are enough here though.

Many of the moany twats in Kettering like to order everything on Amazon and then have the cheek to moan when the High Street is quiet.
