Really says a lot about the sound chip in the SNES as I think the music here is better than the arcade version. This game in general really took advantage of the SNES's full capabilities.
Even as a kid, I felt the scenery/etc. for this level from 25:07-28:02 was somewhat reminiscent of an 'F-Zero' level & at the same time, I also felt that it once, again brought on a little too much of the "This is exactly what the future will look like!" & literally incorporated a sci-fi atmosphere into the game.

I remember the day we were at Ames and I begged for this. Thought I wasn't going to get it... But we did. Came home and beat it with my brother in about 32 minutes lol. Felt a lot longer.
This is such a classic game and still have the game up until this day!
Kids these days will never understand the beauty of this masterpiece
They're gonna say the same thing about fortnite in ten years🤣😂😅
I hope shredder's revenge revives a thirst for the older games... i'm dying for a complete turtles revival
Great game. As many people have said here it brings back great memories.
Also, the real A.D.2020…not so good. No hoverboards, just COVID.
This was the Game we all ran to the arcade for back in the day afterschool or at a pizza joint. Good times. 😄
Que buenas épocas..jugando a estos jueguitos eramos felices!!😁
shredder's laugh @13:46 has stuck with me all these years and I wish I had it to play whenever I want
Hi , 2020 here.... and no , we're still not riding on hoverboards.
I used to record this on VHS cassettes with my little brother. Then, we'd watch the recordings. I liked playing the comic version, because the turtles were different colors. This version was far better the Hyperstone Heist on Genesis.
25:59 I always seem to think the "Turtles getting electrocuted" animation was funny
I find the calls of each stage so cool!
Damn, I remember them all.
A.D. 2020 - Corona Masked Riders
This game is still rocken!!!!
I'm a play this with my kids an teach them that these were the games that all games were made from hands down an still I play once in a while it's like being in a time machine!!!!
one of the few console ports that is arguably improved over the arcade version (additional bosses and stages) the only drawback is 2 player only vs 4 player on arcade
This game was so much fun as a kid. I think I was 7/8 when i first played it & I couldn’t get enough game time lol. Especially the sewer surfing level.
Voy a llorar! Recuerdos de infancia!
Where did you play? at a liquar store?
i played this at the movie theaters.
@@GoldenGate003 In pharmacies or convenience stores
The music every time the boss comes out so bad ass and every-time you hit the boss (that go go sound) child hood memories…. Can’t forget Shredders ha ha ha
so sad SNES Mini never add this game!
Licensing issues I'm afraid.
If you have a pc it's easy to mod. I have it on my snes mini it's a must have 👍👍
Shame this isnt on switch in the snes collection but i fear licensing isnt gonna let it ride.
@@steveafanador6441 I just bought a mod mega drive, and the guy who sold me it said he'd put turtles in time on the snes mini for me. I didn't even know you could do this kind of stuff. I might ask him to do NBA jam while he's at it.
@@TheRetroManRandySavage yeah get as many games as you like. It will hold all of the ones you like.
I remember me, my brother and cousin beating this game the same day my mom bought it for us. 😭
Ah yes, I remember riding my hover board in a neon new York in 2020
This is the best teenage mutant ninja turtles game of all time this game is legendary
Um verdadeiro clássico esse jogo.
🍕 Pizza
Cowabunga !!!
SHUT UP!!!
One of those games that is easier playing with a friend . The best days of Nintendo . Oh childhood memories .
This Is the Best Game Ever ❤️❤️❤️👍
A happy ending. Even though the Statue of Liberty's base is now a complete wreck and the entire structure is likely unsound and a serious hazard without extensive reconstructive work.
Anyone here after the new game announcement?
Really says a lot about the sound chip in the SNES as I think the music here is better than the arcade version. This game in general really took advantage of the SNES's full capabilities.
This guy is way better at the game than I was
ohh the child memories, those sound effects, my heart...
Great Game. One of the Top Games of SNES. I loved this Game. :-)
SirAlexXXII You right
Even as a kid, I felt the scenery/etc. for this level from 25:07-28:02 was somewhat reminiscent of an 'F-Zero' level & at the same time, I also felt that it once, again brought on a little too much of the "This is exactly what the future will look like!" & literally incorporated a sci-fi atmosphere into the game.
Turles are back
Now the remaster looks just as good.
