I use an acer aspire switch 10 for use with school work, and personally, I found the device completely sound overall. It is extremely light and all basic functions work seamlessly. However, when working on a desk, you will find that the device is more top-heavy than you would think, and yes, the preparatory charger is one of the biggest pains. As long as you don't plan on gaming with this tablet, it it good overall. So basically I can second everything that JuanBagnell said there. Great review!
JuanBagnell Both cost the same right now in my country. Looking for a light and transportable pc/tablet to take with me to the university take some notes but also watching videos and surfing the net.
bjpa It's aall pros and cons. I like the keys better on the Lenovo, but the Acer feels like more of a laptop. The battery and recharging is better on the Lenovo, but the Acer comes with a proper USB port, and the ability to use a flash drive at the same time as charging. The Lenovo has the nicer screen, and it's a little slimmer, but both are pretty portable.
Lenovo has been in court recently for putting adware on their own computers before selling them.. Don't buy them. They also say they give you 4 months of coverage but they only give you four months from the day they ship the item, not the day you activate it. Their products are overall disappointing and I would never buy one. Go with Acer.
Hi! Can anyone tell me how I can activate wifi?? In German I've found several recommendations telling me I should activate the "funkswitch" but I cannot find it (sounds stupid I know) - flight mode is not activated by the way. Can anyone help me? Thank you!!
There is no such thing as a "daily vlogger." There are two types of people: 1) people who have jobs and contribute to the betterment of society, and 2) people who call themselves "bloggers/vloggers."
I'm certain Acer sent you a much higher quality version of the actual Aspire Switch 10 just so you would give them a positive review; all of the standard store models end up becoming useless in a few months or less which is further compounded by Acer's horrible customer support.
I have an old Acer aspire one 2010. It still works and running w10 it was the reason I bought it but when a PC maker creates this kind of new features something has to go wrong. The keyboard is terrible.

As usual, a perfect unboxing. The Windows machines at this price point are becoming quite interesting - and useful. Thanks.
Heh-heh. Best unboxing I could do :-)
Glad you enjoyed the review!
We wear the same socks. Also getting one of these soon thanks for the review!
+Kubes Voxel Ha! Sock pals!
How do the hinges handle over time? Should I get it insured? I'm looking to replace my old iPad 2 :) thanks
Which one is better this one or the Lonovo yoga tablet 2 ?
bjpa It just depends on what features are more important to you, and what your budget is.

+Jason Muñoz Sorry to hear that. It definitely seems to be one of the compromises for the price. Solid tablet, mediocre keyboard.
should have bought the full hd version
ali khuram ijaz Oh I didn't buy this. My pals at Acer sent me one to review.
