This is a great system for zeroing the grinder. I have never seen these grinders in-person, but some require stickers when adding new burrs. Is the P64 still like that? It seems to me that having the inside funnel turn with the adjustable ring/pointer is the way to go.
I tried (unsuccessfully) to install genuine Mazzer burrs in my df64v but the grind setting moved to chirp point in the middle of each grind. Do you know why this would happen?
I have not tried putting mazzer burrs into the V. Not fully sure I understand the whole question. If its not zeroing, loosen the adjustment dial indicator, it can prevent the adjustment collar from reaching zero if not calibrated right.
