    0:48 That's not a bad thing. In some cases it's easy and a lot faster to build a square, but in general DR+pairs is the way to go to optimise ergonomics and lookahead. To improve SB, try to plan the DR edge and optimise all your pair solutions.

      Alright, thanks for the tip!
      My second block can be pretty inefficient at times, so I probably have to get better at optimizing pair choice and doing more efficient solutions for each pair and stuff.

    I have the most random question, is the wrm 2021 better than the v9 for a roux turning style?

    • @CubingWithAlex
      @CubingWithAlex  2 месяца назад

      Not sure but I would imagine that it is better than the normal v9 ball core (not the 20 mag one)

    Congrats for getting these times and progression, i just can't get better solves using Roux, I'm not so good at intuitive method.

  • @SophiaLiechtenstein
    @SophiaLiechtenstein 3 месяца назад +2

    Challenge: Use a Diansheng Googol 10cm for 10 days or 1 month and show your progression. This is the world's largest magnetic speedcube, and you can REALLY feel you're getting adapted, because is not a simple millimeter bigger, is giant. That would be really amazing to see.
    There are also 8cm, 9cm and 7cm ones, but the 7cm one is a little easier to adapt, its times are identical after a few solves, and it only starts to slow down after the 8cm one.

    • @CubingWithAlex
      @CubingWithAlex  3 месяца назад +2

      That’s actually a really good idea. I’ll add it to the list! Thanks :D
