Hydraulic injection is a terrifying injury. I used to work on wind turbines with hydraulic pitch. Clearly this is less pressure but be careful man. High pressure hydraulic fluid can leave some nasty wounds

Yes sir. I was just using it to push the cylinder out. I do know the danger of high pressure fluids. 👍

      What would you call it?

@@mechanicgray good way to nick the chrome or ding a piston. hydraulic stiction makes the rod come flying out like that cause you need much more air pressure to get it moving than to move it. youre better off having something rigged up to the end of your bench like a block and tackle so you can pull it out more controlled without firing the rod out the end.

@@DieselRamcharger Bro I agree. I just didn't have anything. If this was something I did all the time I would figure out a different way.

@@mechanicgray when you do it this way you gotta hit it with a little air then wait, or while giving it a little tug or twist. if you just pump em up till they shoot out, things can get pretty wild. :)

@@mechanicgray shit i seen your table and thought you did this all the time, but i see the torque converter up there and i guess the self draining table makes sense. i rebuilt my cummins tranny a while back...truck aint moved since! ha!....fuck. :(
