    www.boardshop....
Dark Arts Surfboards are at the absolute cutting edge of surfboard technology, working with a select group of world-renowned shapers the founder Justin Ternes is creating incredible surfboards. The production process is revolutionary, working with a perfectly finished blank which is then glassed using a carbon fibre vacuum bagging process to create stunning looking performance boards. Dark Arts Surfboards are all about innovation and progression in the world of manufacturing surfboards. They are not just reinventing how we look at constructing a surfboard, but also the performance levels a surfboard can reach.
The Dark Arts x Pyzel collaboration has been a smash hit, they have a huge fan in Mr John John Florence who snapped up almost all of the first production run and the appeal is only going to get wider. Alongside Pyzel a host of other brands as Album, Sharpeye, SMTH Shapes and Aipa all trust in Dark Arts to allow them to produce the highest quality boards in a groundbreaking construction. The Dark Arts construction has been catching the eye of surfers all over the world. You will see these boards under the feet of more and more professional surfers and also more every day surfers searching for a board that lasts longer without comprising performance or feel. Justin Ternes created something special when he founded Dark Arts Surfboards.
An amazing surfboard construction and technology that is the future.

Very informative thank you to my friends across the pond! I actually live in San Diego and checked out Justin’s facility a few years back. The tech was impressive, the boards are gorgeous and J.T. is a cool, humble, hardworking fellow

obvious concern ... black board + sun = delamination ? how does the carbon wrap reacts to heat ?

They advise avoid getting the boards very hot, we have not had one through a summer to say for sure. Advise, be careful, store in a board bag and somewhere cool.

Great video. Are the boards lighter than the firewire helium construction?

Does the EPS blank absorb water?

Thanks. They are not closed cell, so they will if you damage it all the way through but its going to have to get through some very tough carbon first.
