sweet ride, quite amazing what a couple cans of paint and some wise planning can do, got a 2012 nav, blacked out the rear bumper and front grill with a matt black plasitdip, wasn't feeling the chrome look, but im loving the matt black look now.
Hey there.. awesome vid. I have D40 Rsport 6speed manual, no mods YET!! Lol. May i ask what kind of paint did you use to paint your side steps?? I was actually going to take mine off.
A 2 inch lift won't make to much of a difference to the way it drives. Putting wider tyres on helps a lot as it makes the car a lot more stable around corners.
Some Mike love 😏 Brother , just wanna hear , do the wheel spacers affect handling while driving? Cos I have mags that wanna fit to my "new daily". The car it's an 108'4pcd and the mags 100'4 pcd. Thanks for great videos every week 😉
I am about to install my nudge bar and looked at the bracket to bolt to the front and am just wondering if you have to go and get a longer bolt. Once the bracket is on the bolt that is given is way to short I am wondering if I have it on wrong or am meant to go get new bolt
Hey josh i have just brought a nudge bar like in video i got it off Facebook and no instructions i was wondering if you got instructions on it and what the brackets look like thanks
Looks great the black paint work - just one thing though, are you not concerned about the legalities with insurance etc considering wheel spacers are illegal ? Just curious if you've had any issues yet ? Cheers and yeah the paintwork looks cool . 👍

Mike, Wishing you a Happy New Year!!! Thanks for this video! Did you get any rubbing on the front after installing the wheel spacer? I run a 2"lift with 265/70/16, added a 30mm spacer and now is rubbing in the front towards the bumper. Moving to 265/75/16 may rub even more, just wondering. Thanks a lot and have a great day!
Hey Fausto, happy new year! I don't experience any rubbing with this setup. Are you using stock wheels or aftermarket wheels? The offset will affect whether you experience rubbing or not. Mine is very close to the plastics on the bottom of the bumper.
@@itsmikelake Thanks!!!!! I hope you has a great time. I am using stock rims, the rubbing is minimum and it just got me thinking, will do a minor trimming. I let you know how it goes when I move to 265/75/16. Thanks again :)
Small touches, low cost, a day's worth of work and a huge result.
Love the Nav getting some love on the channel too
Absolutely spot on. Love when the little things make the big differences. Really enjoying driving this rig around now. Cheers Byrne!
Excellent work mate for a small cost...Keep it up...Thank you.👌👌👌👍👍👍

Thanks bro! They're a brilliant ute. Just make sure you maintain it and you'll have a blast.
Can u put a link where you got the 35mm wheel spaces?
Was gonna ask the same question.
a little piece of me died when you brushed from the wheel to the body haha
Hahaha yeah look, I wouldn't do it on the Datsun or a nicer car. The Navara can cop it though 😂

Is the lift kit necessary to fit that tire size,? I'm planning to put 265/70/16 on my 2012

LOOKS VERY GOOD MAN!!!
Heii, could you put a link what front light bar you got? Thanks
Nice looking car. Have the same, can't say a bad thing about it.
Hey I have the same Navara, did you sand the things first before you sprayed them and what paint did you use? Cheers Bells
Hey! Yep, a quick sand with 400 grit sand paper. Used black plastic spray from Supercheap auto. Works well.
@@itsmikelake thank you so much for the fast reply! Ok I will grab some sand paper and paint and get to my side steps. Same as yours. Cheers Bells
@@itsmikelake hey was the paint matt? Cheers
Yeeww nav mods . I love my D40 can't beat them

Boost is wound up few psi also . Set up for long trips away but the barwork allows the odd tuff track trip without damaging stuff to much
@@garydocker7102 Damn dude, you've got the lot! How's she go with a bit more boost? Love it
@@itsmikelake gets along alright but it does have alot of extra weight from the accessories
Great vid mate. Any chance you could do one on how you put the nudge bar on. On a Facebook group and so many ppl confused. Cheers mate
Nice nav bro!!
Where did you find the wheel spacers??
How are they keeping up?
Nice Job !! Nice result !! How many cm are the spacers ? Did you had any problems at the front from the steering wheel ?
Thanks! 35mm spacers. I had zero problems with this setup 😁

You should do the roof rack. Mish to get it off but may be worth it.
Was literally thinking this while I was editing! Had a looksie and it's not too hard to remove. 100% happening.
What size wheel spacers did you use and what size body lift 👍🏻
35mm spacers and 2” lift 🤓
