    I have aftermarket 17in rims with negative offset. 265 70 R17 tires fit without rubbing against the chassis as the wheels stick out a bit due to the negative offset. They also make your truck look good

    Thanks bro! I have been wow off grid with my nav, didnt even know how to change a tyre yet. Now I'm looking at some tyres with slightly larger radius then the 31's i believe I have now. Guess ill be getting a lift too.

    • @j01HUNTER

      Never bad idea to get a lift. Just heads up you will never get a lift like you can on other models Fourbies as the navs just designed to be low for some stupid reason but 265/70r16 or 265/70r17 are bother great sizes when paired with a 50mm lift kit.

    Running 35/12.5 R17 on 18" rims. Has 3-4" adjustable coils in the front and a 2" spring lift in the rear. Tires rub on full lock, but otherwise no other contact issues. (CV's will hate your guts tho! 😂)

    How do you rekon 33s with a 2 inch lift would go, that’s what I’m thinking of doing otherwise I’ll just get 32s as I already have the lift

      You will get some scrubbing if don't have a bull bar with be worse with factory mine are more 32 and abit with 2inch lift she just missed the chassis but if had 33 Def's svrub

    • @j01HUNTER

    I put 265/65/18 tire on OEM NP300 18 inches wheel to my D40, which is 1,1 mm less overall diameter than your 265/70/17 and I have no rubbing issue.

    • @j01HUNTER

      It's interesting how each car can ride different some fit tyres perfectly while others don't.
      After chatting so some suspension blokes they said it can depend on factory manufacturing to how tired the suspension can be my utes low KMs so the suspension still pretty firm so have less play compared to those with over 300k on the clock.
      Even with them on so long she still rubs but not a huge issue still saving for the lift kit gonna take me awhile.

    • @ahmadsilmarillion9984
      @ahmadsilmarillion9984 2 года назад +1

      @@j01HUNTER it depends the width and the offset (ET) of the wheel. The more positive, the more your tires will poke in and the more the tires will be closer to the suspension or chasis.
      Currently I'm using 7 inch wide of OEM 2019 NP300 wheels that have offset +45 with 265/65/18 without any suspension-lift or body-lift.

      @@ahmadsilmarillion9984 oh that makes sense I use factory wheels as can see from video which are a 0 offset have thought of replacing the rims but it's hard to find anything different were I live as you well swear of the shitty stuff Patten only navs use so many don't stock rims for them.

    • @ahmadsilmarillion9984
      @ahmadsilmarillion9984 2 года назад

      @@j01HUNTER if you're using 0 offset, it means your wheels poke out 45 mm more than mines, so it wouldn't rubb inner chasis but it might rub your side fender.
      Navara 6x114 PCD is only used by Nissan Navara and Terra so it is difficult to find.

    • @j01HUNTER
      @j01HUNTER  2 года назад

      @@ahmadsilmarillion9984 yea the stock 17inch is 0 offset yet still rubs on the chassis others don't have the same issue but Spain built D40 come standard with 0 offset in a 17inch rim the 16 usually came out with steely rims idk the offset on them but Im sure they were 0 as well.

      @@twinversbr It would also depend on the type of tire. For example, a 265/70/17 Mud Terrain tires with larger treads will be noticeably bigger than Highway Terrain or All-Terrain tires of the same size but with smaller treads.

      I think it's because each ute out of the factory is slightly different. Then you have factors like what wheel alignment for what tyres you have, has your car been in a crash. Then there's the year and what country was it built in. These are the only things I can think of why it's different for each person.
