Nice version. Follows pretty much the original "Here's a Heart" by Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich. Composed by their producers Ken Howard and Alan Blakey.
Not written by their producers Howard and Blakey but rather by Pierre Tubbs and Lionel Segal, a faster demo of which was performed by a group called the Jeeps. Steve Rowland heard the demo and brought it to the attention of DDDBM&T who were in the market for a ballad to contrast with their punchy songs like "Hold Tight" and "Hideaway." At least a dozen versions of the song were recorded between 66 and 1990 including by the Asian star Joe Junior, the Lyres, Los "In" in South America, and even a Serbo-Croatian translation by Cri Biserni. Katty Line had a minor hit with it in France although it might have done better had pop star Joe Dassin not expressed some disdain for it.

Her masterpiece!

I didn't know it was a cover! Thank you very much for this information!
