- Ive been wanting to make a Warhammer for a very long time but was waiting to forge one HOWEVER when I moved workshop again I found a few bits of scrap that I thought would go together nicely as a Warhammer.
unfortunately the 1st head was wrought so wouldn't weld properly but I am really happy with the look of the second head.

Yeh man that’s exactly how I wanted it, originally i was going to clean all the welds up but when i saw the welds I thought they added to the look more

Cheers mate I knew id make use of it somehow.
It was wrought iron so doesn’t weld properly at all it just dribbles and leaves holes cause of the impurities in it.

Man that's nice! Love the design. Some leather wrapping would be great. Around the hammer head to the haft and at the base of the handle
Cheers dude, I did think to wrap it but I didn’t want it to look same as the mace design and i quite like the overall look as it is

Id like to see one with sort of like a spearhead at both the top and bottom
Im planning on building another in the future, definitely spear top but unsure for bottom as it can be dangerous for user
Cool build!
Only thing I would’ve done different would be to give the shaft a slightly flatter cross-section so that the wielder could orient the hammer face and spike more intuitively, by feel. Carpenters hammers and sledgehammers handles have a flat oval in cross-section for this reason.

That's a mean looking weapon. Needs a better grip on the handle though. That steel will get slick with the blood of your enemies!!
Nope its grippy enough and it has a cap to stop slipping from your hands, it doesn’t need grip as you need to be able to move hands freely when swinging

There’s actually a blacksmith on here who lives in thailand and he does his work on a tiny balcony it’s crazy but obviously it’s a full concrete one

How long does it take you to plan out the designs for these things? Do you plan everything out beforehand, or do you just kinda wing it?
I absolutely wing it mate, i when i start filming thats when i start and thats why lots of the time it doesn’t finish how it started haha
I love your designs. And it hurts me every time, seeing perfectly good food going to waste. Maybe there's another way of testing your devices without wasting food?
It’s not wasted, i use it to film.
Big production companies design millions of pounds of cars, food and equipment, im one guy using a bit of fruit.
