You have all been asking for this one for ages and it was good to finally build one that looks medieval but with modern tool processes. What did you think of the testing? Thank you
Great work again as always, mate. I love the fact that you appreciate the necessity of making proper ferrules on the lathe, which too many people are either too lazy to do or ignorant of the importance. What'd you use for bluing? I always use raw linseed oil and beeswax to hot blue, but I'm ever curious as to what techniques and methods others use for everything, especially great fabricators like yourself. Thanks for the fantastic content, bro. Be good and be well.
I like how you made the welding dots, it looks like some sort of riveting technique. Testing was wicked as usual, you really could make a side-gig out of all the byproducts of these tests, maybe open a food bar called "Violence Salads" or smth.
@@stevealford230 tbh depending on what im making i use the lathe if i can’t find a good fit like i did today as i had the scrap to use up, i use a variety of stuff to blacken but this has a nice dark finish and is easy to apply plus im out of blo
@@DiesInEveryFilm I'd prefer to use blo, but here in the States they stopped making "real" blo, instead just adding drying chemicals to raw linseed oil, which make it toxic... and it's a little too risky to boil it myself because its flash point is just a few degrees above its boiling point, so I switched to raw linseed oil... at least until I figure out how to safely make my own blo. Oh, and our BS laws allow them to sell the toxic poison labeled as "Boiled Linseed Oil" even though it's not boiled and is full of other chemicals.

@@DiesInEveryFilm oh agreed, however, and I'm not saying you would, but too many people nowadays would only depend on the chemical bond of epoxy to hold... Especially with handle scales and such...
Excellent build, man! The time you spent on the details really showed well. Also, the use of the push stick on the bandsaw made this safety dork happy.
@@DiesInEveryFilm you should mate... enjoy the small things in life, it makes all the difference... I wish I could still climb trees and build dens... with out being arrested or called a weirdo...😂

Your stuff is SO RAD I'd totally dig just hanging out in your shop for a day building AWESOME stuff When I get over to the UK again, I'm just gonna stop in and say Hey 🤘😁
Awesome build. I think it would have been cool to make the spike holes threaded so you could change the spikes out with other stuff. Still rad as fuuuuuuuuck.
Awesome job man!! Your attention to detail is a beautiful thing to watch.... and you are hilarious to boot...Keep up the great work man!! 👍👍 Now if to find a video of how they did this back in the day without a welder 😁

Now that looks fantastic, love how you blackened everything metal, nicely done!

What a power that weapon has, it destroys everything it touches. My congratulations and respect.

Thanks very much, ive actually started adding in more talking as well so hopefully it gets easier
Great thing! In certain conditions, the thing is very necessary in the household.
Once again, I made sure that your hands are inserted very correctly.
Thank you
I like the weird weapons you make and the hand action on the shaft tells me you like this too
That hand action isn’t advised on anything too course.
Finally got to watch this video. Being an adult sucks sometimes.
Absolutly LOVED this build.
Thanks man, yeh life is chaos as an adult
Was really glad to see you did a mechanical binding rivet to the heft on each end, great build!
