the best zombie game is when it actually happening like the last of us 1 intro. That would be an awesome game. Im sick and tired of killing zombies and fight other human fractions. its all the same concept

although not that original the first one, retrieval seems to me the most polished (although no gameplay) it passes such a dead space one vibe and has a lot of potential considering the scenario is super creepy, most of the games in the list seem all the same tbh, all with those unreal procedural maps without true life if you know what i mean, they just randomly make a terrain with trees/rocks and drop assets like forts/houses on it without really making it believable and alive wich is sad...
These are all Trailers and not actual in game footage. Unreal Engine has a history of being extremely buggy and limited when it comes to adding more players into a server.

Wait, how is Neo Berlin a zombie game? Unless mutants with guns? Otherwise solid set of trailers, Retrieval. Once Human, Toxic Commando, Neo Berlin (reminds me of Deus Ex somewhat), STALKER 2, Echos of the Living (yes it's old school RE clone but still looks fun), Pioner (reminds me of RAGE 1), Holstin (nice mix of isometrix and 3rd person cam), State of Decay 3 and Parasites (looks like Lara Croft with crafting + survival horror), those all have my interest so far. :D

i need a multiplayers game where i can fight zombies with other players (matchmake with 4 others), create a stronghold with defences using resouorces (character, weapon etc upgrades) from the map, complete scavenging missions with other players and in the end defend from a huge upcoming horde. A mixture of Dying Light, Last of Us, State of Decay and Days Gone :P
Ill looks awesome as little as was shown.. and the day before as well. . and blight survival wouldnt usually be a game id play, but that looks pretty interesting as well.. and obviously SOD 3.. but the parasites looks like an epic game, where you are literally building your base, that is really cool.. hope these games can play as well as they show! thanks for sharing!
The day before looked sweet, not enough games are like dayz IMO, I hope its open world and not like tarkov.

ILL is easily my most anticipated game on this list. Im just worried because its been in developement for what seems like years now and there's been barely any footage of it. I have faith that its real but I would be lying if I said I wasnt nervous.

@@B_ChasnikaI think if it was real it would not be a simple game to develop. Probably the reason its not gonna be real is because it looks very complex to me
it will never happen since it's a scripted concept. the "developers" made a lot of this stuff, just scripted stuff and no actual gameplay, just animations.
Neo Berlin is by far the best upcoming zombie game in this list.
Echos of the Living is just classic N64 RE2 with modern game engine and graphics and im alllllll for it!
lets just hope they don't end up like The Day before. I love Zombie Games.

I'm not gonna lie I almost got really excited for a second when I saw once human at first cause it looked like a days gone sequel
Stalker 2 was easily one of my most anticipated games coming out. the first couple trailers were amazing. The last one they showed though got me worried. I completely understand what that team is going thru tryin to develop a game during an ongoing war and my heart goes out to them. be safe. be with your families. but having said that. u can clearly tell the conflict has effected the development. and im just worried that theyll be forced to release it anyway. this game has all the potential in the world. i just hope it can deliver something close to what we initially saw in those first showings. if u cant develop the game bc ur in fear for ur life. thats ok. u dont have to make it right now.

Blight is easily the number one spot. It’s unique while the rest of these have mostly been done before. Stalker and pioner are not zombie games
u ever played stalker cause there is infact zombies and pioner is a stalker clone so it will most likely have its own zombie representation.

Once Human, has that stranger things and dead space vibe to it. I've enjoyed the show and dead space is one of my all time favorite games so I'll be giving this a try.

Gaming is finally having the comeback it has been needing with the dry spell it has had. I had almost given up on gaming, but I believe this year will be the start of a new era, like that of the great early 2000s. I am so going to go all-out this coming year when the new GPUs release!
Don't get ahead of yourself. You won't see what you're talking about until Ai advances enough to make you and me equal a team of top developers. Only it won't take nearly as long to complete a game. Fortunately it's coming before 2030

Was kinda hoping to see Left 4 Dead 3 on here. If it ever is made.
Left 4 dead 3 is incredibly unlikely to ever be made for 2 main reasons
1. Valve doesn't really make games anymore. They have been doing so recently but not much
2. The original dev team is no longer with valve and is a studio of their own which after back 4 blood released it showed how much they needed valve

State of decay is definitely not coming out in 2023 or 2024, Its a game I've been waiting on for a long time and It apparently not supposed to come out until 2027 or later.

really have high hopes for state of decay 3, the 2nd game is really good as well only problem is its not that long and gets repetitive after a while.
Once Human may be in UE5 and the trailer looks nice but we already have a playable Demo and it looks like a PS4 game.
