Thank you very much, a helpful video indeed. I unscrew my bail to clean it up after my reel fell on the sand accidentally a few days back. I tried putting it back on... but still something was wrong, until finally I saw your video. now my bail is super great again.
    Best regards from Alexandria, Egypt.

Thanks so much for showing this ( and so promptly). Unfortunately, it looks like the strikeforce 1000b has a slightly different bail spring mechanism. It is the same on the bail itself, but the other end of the spring is at a different angle and does not go into a hole on the reel. Will keep trying and thanks again for posting

Thank you so much for making this video i was stuck trying to figure out where the bail spring should sit on my Daiwa Laguna Lt 2000 and found this video. It looks like its the same type of mechanism on both reels.

Thanks so much for making this! My crossfire lt2500 got some grit in the mechanism, took apart to clean it and had trouble putting it back together until I found your video. Looks like the mechanism is the exact same. Working as intended now, hooray!

Oh no problem, it took me forever to figure it out and I knew it was such a pain that a vid would probably be a good idea. Thanks!

Where do you get replacement nail spring for Daiwa reels? I've looked and can't find any.

I haven’t found them any other way for awhile except for mikesreelrepair.com, the website didn’t have it in stock but still order and sent me the part in a week to a week and a half I’m pretty sure

Very poor sound, couldn’t hear at all. Thanks.

There no background noise so it’s really easy to still hear, just slightly increase volume and no crying needed

Tried not to be too loud with someone across the wall but it’s still loud enough when I reviewed it
