do people not realize gypsy was literally trapped?!? her mom was watching and listening to everything she was doing 24/7 there’s no way she could’ve gotten away from unless she did what she did. i’ve felt the exact same way but my situation was nothing compared to hers. i’m glad she finally gets her freedom.

@@gigimccannonif you watch the documentaries you’d know that Gypsy tried telling people and tried running away but with the surveillance from her mother controlling everything she does, taking her mother out of the picture entirely was the only option. Her mother was robbing her life from her, she abused Gypsy and psychologically hindered her for YEARS. murder isn’t okay but what her mother did to her wasn’t either. You do what you have to do.

When PRISON feels like freedom, your life is pretty miserable. I think Gypsy said her time in prison was a cake walk compared to living with her mother. And when she tried to escape, her mother found her, brought her back home and chained her in the basement for two weeks without food. She didn’t think she had any other options. I can’t imagine.
i was literally thinking how can anyone say Gypsy's was right for plotting to kill her mother... but if her mother really chained her for two weeks with no food then I understand (i don't think murder was the way to go but i do understand)

I take meds for insomnia and I will still wake up to a pin drop. And I’m miserable without sleep, I still don’t get great sleep separately, but better than together.

I still love all 3 but it's cleae there is very little effort put into this podcast. It feels like i'm watching one long blind react video. You all should really watch the Gypsy Rose prison confessions. It’s only a few episodes and then you will fully grasp the extent of this story. Because you’re barely scratching the surface it sounds crazy, unless you really know the details, and understand the extremity and devastating effects of the sickness of Munchhausen syndrome by proxy.
