I think the main reason Brooke was upset was because you guys talk about situations without having the full info. Dave and Josh kept saying in that episode that Brooke shouldn’t have expected anything from matt and shouldn’t have thought she was the only girl he was seeing. The crucial information you guys left out last episode was that matt was texting her saying he doesn’t want her seeing other people or talking to other guys while lowkey talking to other girls. He was texting her all this stuff making it seemed to her like he wanted a relationship and Dave and Josh kept making it seem like Brooke didn’t have any reason to be upset.

It's not about not reading the sheet beforehand, it's about giving bad takes because you guys usually don't know the full story. Easy fix would be to have the topics fully researched by someone (not just quoting that there's beef), so that when you guys read the sheet for the first time on the show you'll have the full story on the sheet

I don’t think it’s about the hosts not knowing the stuff beforehand, it’s that the sheet that is usually incorrect instead of watching the direct source which is usually a short clip.

I like the dynamic of them finding out but I think there needs to be someone else who actually knows what’s going on to explain it. Like if bri could’ve just corrected Josh and Dave and told them what actually happened they wouldn’t have been going in on Brooke for so long. To answer Josh’s question - this show started as Josh educating Dave on what is going on social media drama wise. It’s frustrating to listen to the show when no one knows what’s going on with a topic & then no one even explains what’s going on to where y’all can do commentary on it. If Austin can jump in & explain or a producer that would make it an easier listen!
The topics on there are on there for a reason because it really is trending for the audience. For example skipping over the Keith Lee stuff a few weeks ago bc it “wasn’t important” was crazy because that’s all social media was for days. And then no one could explain to you/dave/bri what was going on. In summary someone should know the full details to give to you guys when y’all truly don’t know what’s going on. Then decide if it’s stupid to talk about or not!
