It's like when you discover a combination of moves on a video game that help you beat the game, but that is a glitch and does not demonstrate that you are good at the game as a whole. All he does is keep his range (running away from the fight) and counter punch as he runs away. At close range, he smothers and holds; and uses the jab to get points. What's so hard about that? What makes him such a great fighter using those avoidance tactics? He has never gone toe to toe with anyone.
It's like tRump who has found a messed up way to become a president and stay as president, but that by no means indicates that he is any good at being a good president. Mayweather foung a glitch, that does not mean that he is a good boxer.

I truly think that Canelo learnt a lot from that loss, and it made him a better fighter. I think he went back and studied a lot of what Floyd did in the ring and implemented some of the techniques. He's a much better defensive boxer now. A very balanced (offensive and defensive)boxer.
Today hes fighting RUclips celebs and canelo is undoubtedly the best fighter on earth and finishing champs early. Something money always struggled to do. Undisputed super middle. 💪🏽
