everyone I know grew up to "KIRBY KIRBY KIRBY IS THE NAME OF THE SHOW" but I'm apparently the only weirdo who, at 7 years old, only knew the show from stumbling upon the subbed Japanese version on youtube and ran around the backyard singing THIS.
I knew I wasn't alone when I had watched the original Japanese version of the Kirby anime in my childhood (星のカ-ビイ/Kirby and The Stars), I'd watch the English and Japanese versions over and over again and sync the Japanese OP with videos from American cartoon theme songs
The Japanese episodes and the Japanese opening to Kirby really put a smile to my face. The music makes you feel like you're playing with Kirby and fighting alongside him against his enemies trying to bring darkness and sadness to Dreamland. Smiles all around!
