    Before you snip it in DS, could you first change your images to print and cut so there won't be any outlines to clean up? Sorry, I'm new to inkscape and wasn't sure if you could do this.

    I am new to inkspace. I mostly use canva and gimp. How do I add your side bar menu?

      Oh interesting. If you use the menus at the top it will open up the menu onto he right for most things !

      You should be able to follow very similar steps in illustrator!! They are very similar.
