    I bought the Night Stalker in 45. Great gun. Mine came with a letter from Tisas telling me they no longer use MIM parts. So, Tisas listens to the American market.

    Tisas are excellent pistols, my duty model has run better than 1911s that cost more than twice it's price. The Night Stalker in 10mm is next on my list. Great video.

    Thank you for the detail on the review. Some advice on using that gauge is to put your index and middle finger on either side of the metal rod so that you pull back with stability . . .
    . . . the way you're doing it (holding with a bias to to right of the guage rod) you are inadvertently torquing it, which will affect the readings.

    The trigger gauge you have is designed to be held between your index finger and middle finger so you don't pull at an angle as you were doing

    Just found your channel. I’m a huge 1911 fan. Makes me wonder…..what’s your 1911 budget like? My wife has me limited to 3 at any given time…. 😂 Sub’d

      Thanks for the sub. I love 1911’s. I have A LOT of 1911’s. I will eventually do a video with all my 1911’s. I believe it is over 20 right now. I know. I have a problem 🤣

    I asked SDS if the “X” would handle a steady diet full power loads. They assured me that it would and stated it has a full warranty if it doesn’t. Factory ammo these days rarely gets over 1150. Go get some underwood

    Ok, it's been two months since this vid, how's the D10 doing? I'm curious to see if you have fed it some spicier ammo yet. Good looking pistol, thanks for the review.

      Still running like a top man. Fired a couple of mags of the spicier stuff and gonna do some more on camera. Just collecting the ammo up for the vids.

    The only thing I want to change on my D10 are the sights. Those blacked out target sights are not what I want on my gun. And I'll probably put a standard thumb safety on it at some point. I'm not a fan of the ambi safeties. But aside from that it's a damn nice pistol.
    I really have no idea why someone would want to spend 5-6 times the amount of money for a "custom" gun that doesn't really do anything differently.

    Just purchased the D10, exceeding my expectations so far. My eyes are not what they use to be. Do you have any insight into what hi viz sights will fit this model? I have not had much luck.

    Would you choose this model or the Yukon if you could only have one? Also would it be worth it to spend a bit more and get something like a Springfield Ronin?

    • @wyominggunproject
      @wyominggunproject  6 месяцев назад +2

      If I had to do it over again I would probably go with the Yukon. When I bought the D10 I don’t think the Yukon was released. If you look around you can probably get the Yukon or D10 a lot cheaper than a Springfield. Hope this helps. 🤠

    • @destroyingdadxx2274
      @destroyingdadxx2274 6 месяцев назад

      I think the D10 is a better deal. The D10 has better adjustable sights and is a full size gun so is better for hunting which is why I bought one. The Yukon ihas a 3/4” shorter barrel, has ok sights (not fully adjustable), and costs $100 more. I have a D10 and have looked at the Yukon but all your really getting is a slightly shorter gun with arguably worse sights and paying more for it.

    Early RUclips reviews pointed out a dangerous defect in that they tended to damage the cartridge when you chamber a round. Has yours done this? I've been thinking about buying one but it appears to be discontinued already. Its not on their website anymore. Midway USA has it delisted but there are some available on Gunbroker. How's yours holding up? I'm hoping to add it to my growing 10mm collection which consists of a Colt Delta Elite, Sig P220 Hunter, and a S&W M&P.

    How does the tisas line compare to Springfield products?

    • @wyominggunproject
      @wyominggunproject  10 месяцев назад +2

      Springfield is still using MIM parts on their 1911’s. Tisas is not. So there is a plus right there and Tisas is cheaper.

    • @Blakgun
      @Blakgun 9 месяцев назад +1

      I have a Springfield Ronin 10mm. It is more expensive than a Tisas D10 and has been back to Springfield twice but still doesn't run right. I've given up on it. During the second trip to Springfield I bought a D10 and have yet to have a single failure with it. The Ronin looks pretty until you take it apart and see all the MIM parts they use. The D10 is just made to a higher standard of quality in my opinion. Accuracy is similar between the two guns.
