I just picked up a Tisas D10 today on sale at Palmetto State Armory for $599 + shipping and sales tax hope it’s as nice as you describe. Should get it next week

What is interesting to me is the consistency of Tisas products. I have the 4.25" and 5" 1911s in 45ACP as well as their Gen 3 PX3 Night Stalker SF in 9mm which provide the same type of experience for me that you are describing. Comparing these pistols to their counterparts (Ruger, Kimber, and Colt for 1911s in my lifetime, as well as Springfield XDs for the PX3) and I am impressed with how much Tisas is bringing to the table. Twice I bought Tisas firearms as "cheap range toys" and they have since become trusted firearms in my daily life (4.25 1911 for carry and the PX3 on my nightstand). I have my eyes set on the D10 as I am moving to Alaska and while I have already purchased a model 69 .44 for my daily carry and a model 610 for conversion to 10mm Magnum for my woods carry, I love my 1911s. I wish Tisas would get on the 2311 wagon and build us a reasonably priced 10mm high cap. I had an interesting experience with the PX3 I own, I had a Police Firearms Instructor who has been a Glock Fan and armorer for 20 years shoot my PX3. He has since become a convert to the idea of buying one of these or even trying to Canik's that he never would have considered before. Most of the "hate" I see thrown at Tisas has been from Fans of particular brands that feel offended that a Turkish company is showing up American made products. I am a proud American, but I realize that one of the failures in our country's Capitalistic system is that people build a great product that eventually goes downhill due to cost cutting measures, and/or manufacturing fatigue where you lose the skilled labor that made those original products great, only be the replaced by people who really don't care or carry any pride in the product they produce. With that said, GREAT VIDEO, I have subscribed. Thanks!

I have close to 1k rounds through my d10 and carry it daily. I did swap out my factory magazines with Ed brown and installed an Ed brown magwell which was perfect fit. I also have the 1911CSS45R tisas and just for giggles put an Ed brown adjustable trigger and Holy cow, it is super crisp and no travel. She's either on or off. Good video

I've got the Tisas coming to my FFL in the next few days.640 bucks tax shipping and transfer fees included. They make 1911's really well. I have several chambered in 45 and they are beauties that run perfectly out of the box. Great vid, subbed.

FWIK, Tisas has only “one” MiM part! The recoil spring plug. Most 1911 at this price point have MiM parts in abundance.

I own a Kimber 10mm and the Tisas d10 10mm, had issues with the Kimber on break in I'd shoot a round or 2 then nothing had to rechamber a round then on my 3rd and 4th mag it never did it again, and my Tisas I've had 0 issues so far and the minor issue with the Kimber is no big deal as I'd buy another one if i wanted but I spent it on a 460 Taurus revolver and that thing is a BEAST!

I would pick up the Tisas, but with the fixed sight. Next would come a magwell, my preferred single safety, slide stop, and short trigger. Then I would debur all the edges and refinish it.

I own Springfield’s, Kimbers and Tisas 1911’s. My Springfield TRP is clearly the nicest. But my 2 Tisas are equal to or better than my other Springfield and my Kimber. And no MIM parts. Their great 1911’s.
