First of all, thank you for your videos! I particularly appreciate that you also say what a phone does not have or cannot do. I just had a quick look at the list of your rugged phone videos and I am missing a video of budget phones, say up to €/$ 200 . What I am looking for is a no-frills but good quality device: Good quality video that can be intercut with clips from a decent compact camera (with image stabilisation!), good reception and sound quality for the phone part, enough RAM and ROM for a few apps, games included and the whole package as rugged as possible (for kayaking). Where do I look?
Have you actually used these phones because I own 2 of the Doogee S96 GTs & while they are greatly built phones their main camera blows. The first one was a factory screw up camera main, the 2nd one just went bad over the first year or so. The Selfie cam is perfect, but the main blows. I will never buy Doogee again because of this.
Surprised the Doogee has best night vision cause I have a Doogee s86pro and night vision is crap and the speaker is buggered, now have 18t and the power button no longer works, can't turn off or on, soo disappointing.
No perfect solution. For travel abroad I need two working SIM slots, but I also want a SD card. This rules out, Armor 18T, G2 Guardian, V Max 5G. The S99 has a 3 slot configuration which claims to work with 2 SIMS and a SD card. However it has a 6000mAh battery - not the biggest and I don't want to permanently charge the phone or stand outdoor without battery. The S23 is not clear what "(choose 2 out of 3)" means as the user manual seems not downloadable yet and the card holder is not shown. If I could put all cards inside and operate at once only two I would pick the S23, else the S99.
