This is the best routine I've heard Rita Rudner do. She did say the word-"sh__! She'd never curse which is fine by me.
Rita is actually so funny without having to use vulgarity.
I haven't thought of her for years, I am so glad her comedy is still as funny as it was when she did the (breaks in the kitchen sink routine).. and shes still very attractive....
Sadly, not one of today's female comedians can touch the hem of one of Rita's gowns. Amy Shumer and her truck driver mouth set the pace for witless vulgarity. Rita has a brain, timing,insight, cleverness. AND, personally. She's a class act. Hope you're reading this, Rita

Boy, are you one disgruntled fella... Hard to believe you're a comedian yourself, you obviously have a lot of issues ! (Which could actually be a prerequisite for comedians, ah well...) Ever heard of Rebecca Kohler ? Taylor Tomlinson ? Angela Johnson ? Rachelle Elie ? They can all be edgy without being vulgar, that's how smart they are ! 🥰 I love Rita Rudner and if you've actually listened to her over the years, you would know that under that wonderful, innocent and amazing smile lies some very strong 2nd degree humor.. And if you can't get it or appreciate it, well that's your loss... In fact, 40 years ago, she would never have invited these guys on her show: great sign that her humor has evolved. Can you ? 😳

Rita Rudner was great, as usual. The guys were crude. What, did they think that made them funnier? Especially when compared to Rita, who never has to resort to such tactics?
The second guy was just downright gross.
Very, very, classy comedienne, reminds me of Gracie Allen; Lucille Ball; Phyllis Diller; and Carol Burnette 😀! What's 🙀 about her whole routine 🤔 😳 is that she's so funny 😁 😂 without using any profanity at all in her specials ! Love her act and hope she continues to attract new friends and fans of her act !

Let ME get this straight: Professional Lenders, in business for a hundred years, demanded documentation from Amateur Borrowers to prove they could pay the home loan back.
Then the Professional Lenders wrote mortgage documents with a clause in it enabling the Professional Lender to increase the monthly payment to a level NO document the Amateur Borrower submitted would convince the Professional Lender they could continue to pay it back.
So it wasn't that people took out a loan to 'buy' a house they couldn't afford. It was that banksters, knowingly, got Amateur Borrowers to sign a document a half inch thick, plopped down in front of them on closing day, when they were sick of dealing with realtors and banksters, so they didn't say, "I'll take this home and read it and have my lawyer look at it, and get back with you!" to 'sell' the property.
The Amateur Borrowers just signed the document, thereby 'legally' committing themselves to abide by whatever the Professional Lender had written into it. Because Amateur Borrowers, amateur Citizens, obey the law.
Was it an epidemic, a Pandemic of Stupid that swept through bankers coast to coast, even internationally, making them write documents for loans the borrower could not pay them back? They'd been in business a hundred years, making a living that enabled them to drive three cars, own three homes, vacation in the Bahamas AND the south of France.
Or was it a set-'em-up/knock-'em-down by bankers becoming banksters, in collusion with Leadership Decision-Makers in government who conveniently repealed the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act, which made such banking practices 'illegal', because they collapsed the global economy in 1929.
Predictably, for Professional Lenders and government Leadership Decision-Makers with average Intelligence Quotients, they collapsed the global economy again in 2008. Nobody went to jail because it was all perfectly 'legal'. Too big to jail.
And the banksters, the Professional Lenders who wrote the mortgage documents with the Variable Rate clause, the 'balloon payment' you can't pay back clause, not only came to own 12 million pieces of The American Dream of Home Ownership, real estate, but the government Leadership Decision-Makers who repealed Glass-Steagall made sure the Professional Lenders got a $700,000,000,000.00 billion dollar bailout from the Tax dollars paid by the people who lost their homes.
The social implications of that many American Citizens losing their homes and that financial crisis are complex and will be long-lasting. And it was all 'perfectly legal'.
How long did it take you to make that make sense? I need your reading material.

I’d much prefer watching an hour of Rita!! Have to say I switched off after her part as the rest of them weren’t good and the crudeness isn’t my cup of tea. I don’t think she should’ve been in a line up with them at all. I like comedians who don’t feel the need to swear and be crude
