Brother once again you have been a sure inspiration. I lost my leg 5 years ago and I was a huge adventurer before this, doing just about all things Outdoor. Now I just watch channels like your and other clean Christian Channels. I should also say like you I had 55 years of healthy life. Thanks for reminding me that I need to be Grateful to God for that. Blessings from Cape Town. ❤👍👌
Every day is a good day when you're out shooting. Hope you feel better. I have been on vacation and just catching up on your videos where I left off. Thats my one rule when on vacation. No social media while on vacation. We only bring one satellite phone for emergency calls. Man is it peaceful when you stay off that toxic dump for a few weeks. The kids cry about it the first day then they remember how much fun wakeboarding, Jetsking, fishing, and hunting is when you focused.. lol
Great videos! I was just wondering how you mounted the reel seat to the mini cross bow? Did you use a scope ring to the picatinny rail? If so did the real seat fit in it or did you need to modify it? Thank you!
Do you have a video about how you put this fishing rig together? How you attached the reel to the mini crossbow, what part of the bolt you tie on to?, what method of aiming you use ect. I think it would be helpful if you have not already done a video on this. God bless
Do you have any more fishing videos of this crossbow? The Hellhawk according to your Amazon link? I glanced at all your videos but didn’t look at each one. I’ll look harder in the meantime in case you miss this.
I'm not sure, I've shot them in water somewhere between 2 and 3 feet successfully. The water clarity where I am doesn't allow for me to try shots deeper than that.
@@TheWaterSwatters Looks like you have the most videos on the cross bow fishing. You have so many I don’t know what to Choose I’m waiting your opinion. Getting set up for this ?
I’m glad you didn’t get the Albino Gar just because I’m a sucker for things like that. I want a crossbow for mullet next summer I think. Do I have to spring for the Striker or will that like you have work fine? I don’t mind paying for the Striker, but I have noticed through videos that they might be a tad high maintenance, especially for a guy like me who buys stuff to use and use alot.
These 80lb bows work just fine for bowfishing. I shoot the metal slingshot fishing arrows out of em. Just the way they come too. It scratches the rail up a bit but I bet I've put more that 300 shots through it with them little metal bolts and it's still kicken.
I felt like a dunce after I watched the video a few more minutes you said that the ones for the striker didn’t fit. I ordered some from Amazon earlier. Different brand, but they look the same.
God bless your health and family bro, love your fishing and hunting videos , very inspirational i heard you once saying you had a zebco micro reel, ... i just got myself a crossbow to try the same fishing here in Europe.... let me ask you this are you still using those reels, i have seen that for some models you have to keep your finger on the button while casting but you dont do that in yours.... and also they seem to not take braided line well, do you use mono ? best regards from Europe
I did use zebcos, but you're right they don't take braid well. I have switched to a couple reels I picked up off Amazon. They came preloaded with a fishing line that works well. It would work in a zebco. It's just a non coated bowfishing line. I've never used mono
Sure braided for this type seems well more suited, im using a very common (here in europe) spinning reel, but it has tangled the thin braid on me a couple of times. What type of reel would you recommend these days, and which one can you shoot without have the keep pressing the button at the same time your shooting ? Appreciate your help ! keep it up!
The bow is good for probably 5 or 6 feet. The metal bolts are good for about 3. If they have any bend in them at all than they'll start to curve in the water at about 3 feet.
I'm sorry to hear of your health concerns but loved your attitude. And whatever you're using for a camera, it is excellent; your video quality is second to none. And so what if you didn't get a fish this time. Let me leave you with Psalm 118:24 "This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice in be glad in it." fish or no fish. Hang in there, and thanks for the fun, crystal clear videos. I will pray for you. Be strong, and leave things in the Lord's hands.
if this gal bladder locks you up for deer season I have a lease near your vacinity. i’ll bring you some venison. I’ll be praying for you and your family God bless God speed brother

Is that a Bear X Desire XL? Nice and cheap, but packs a wicked sting. Hate the stock sight though.
Very good! Keep you in my prayers brother, Ephesians 6:10

Oh yeah there are several. Just scroll through the Mini crossbow bowfishing play list. That will narrow it down
What’s the deepest a fish can be for you to get it with that 80lb crossbow?

No worries, we are all pulling for ya brother!

Tudca will help with the gall blader issues.
Well I minus a gallblader now. That snuck up and bit me....guess it's just one of them thing ya know you're all good until your not.
Are those the fishing arrows for the mini striker? I looked at William Tell website and didn’t see any metal ones that say they’re for an 80lb bow.
I just get the the ones I use in the 80lb bows off Amazon
