I have a braided 40lb test line and every time I shoot my crossbow the string breaks loose from my arrow. I done lose 3 arrow so far shooting at fish. Do u have a special knot u tie onto ur arrow?

This seems like over harvesting. If you are eating that many fish it’s too much. We do not want to exterminate snakeheads. That is old school thinking. Do more catch and release.

I use wire to secure the reel under the crossbow.
Out of curiosity do you need a just a fishing license for this or do you also need a hunting license considering you're using a crossbow to fish.
